  1. It all depends on how you ride, rider weight can play a factor too. I ran 22x11x8 10 paddle haulers with a plus 4 swingarm. I ran 14/46 gearing. The motor was a stock cylinder 4mil. That was in Oregon in the trails and tree shots. You're going to get all different answer's. Mainly you'll just have to try different combos until it performs how you want it to.

  2. I've had 3 stellar rec arms on 3 different bikes. I'm 250 pounds and ride the Oregon dunes. There's lots of whoops and it can get pretty tore up when there is no wind. I've never had an issue. Just ordered another stellar for my new build.

Any arm built to rec specs would have issues in an mx environment. There's a reason why mx arms have all of the gussets and added bracing.

That's a lot of garage.. Just wish u could get that much separated.. I don't want to be smelling spilled gas and oil while eating or sleeping.

Also I think with a separate garaged one I could keep bikes in it at night.. Little less worrying for me.

I've been in three different toy haulers that share garage space with the living quarters. Never had a problem with gas smell. We always turn the fuel off and don't store fuel in the trailer. Either use the fueling station or keep the cans in the truck.

I want this one next. 17.5 ft of separate garage.

  4. Good looking bike, what u going to do when the kids have their own bikes? I want my next trailer to be the trailer I have for a while.

Just one kid right now. I have a long bed dodge. I put the 450 with a plus 4 swingarm and an atc 70 in the truck. I could still put a kids quad in the kitchen or a full size stood up if needed. I have looked at getting an atv deck for the truck too. There are some haulers out there that have 17 to 18 feet of cargo space.

  5. I did a lot of research before I bought our toy hauler. Took a lot of measurements. Made sure the rzr xp4 would fit. Rzr in the hauler and quad goes in the back of the truck.

  7. The bike was jetted conservatively. An a/f meter was not used. We had no reason to lean the bike out to make the pc's look better. I had nothing to gain by making the pro circuits look better than the other pipes. I did the testing to find out what worked best for my bike. I could care less what people run on their bikes. It seems like you have an answer or reason for why our testing was inconclusive so I'm done here. I guess everyone will have to wait until a reputable builder has time to put all the different setups on the same dyno with the same bike in the same day to find out what the best setup is.

  8. As far as the difference in loaded vs unloaded, all of the pipes we tested had the same results loaded vs unloaded. You would have to talk to Jeff at fast on the dome design.

I had the pc's on the bike before I bought the serval setup. Before we went to the dyno I expected to be going home and ordering the cpi's. After the dyno time the pc's stayed. It doesn't matter anymore as I no longer own the bike.

Andy, I'm curious why your dyno sheet showed the serval peaking around 8,500 rpm. Even with the pc's mine peaked over 9k and close to 9,600 with the cpi's. Nate McCoy's also peaked around 9,600 with cpi's and stock carbs.

  9. Has any of the builders in the industry tested the Pro Circuits on their dynos with the Serval against any of the other pipes they are claiming are the best yet? Anyone know?

When I did it, and I talked to people about it, all the builders acted like they were completely disregarding the factual numbers I came up with on the PC's. I am willing to bet no one has actually tested them yet, and they are assuming off numbers they have seen from all the popular mid-top pipes out there.

From what I've seen you and I are the only ones that have posted any dyno results for the PC's. I've seen a couple people say they are running them, but I dont think anyone has done the comparisons like you and I did with my bike.

  10. I didn't have a ton of time or money for dyno and I only had the 28mm mikuni's. We tested the Pro Circuits, cpi's and Trinity's with the 28's. The Pro Circuits came on earlier and stayed 4-6 hp above the cpi's and trinity's until just past 9,000 rpm's. Then the cpi's and trinity's pulled a little past and peaked at about the same HP. I tried the 304 silencers on the pc's and my 294 silencers. The 294's are the long forest friendly ones and they actually made more power than the 304's which are the standard silencers. Not sure if it was the added back pressure or what but it kind of surprised Snop and I.

We did the Dyno tuning at Rooster Built Racing in Auburn, WA. Dave said that he figured larger carbs with the cpi's or trinity's would possibly loose a little on bottom but maybe pick up 1-2 on top.

  11. i got a brand new set of 28mm mikuni flatslides and im having trouble jetting them, 290 main 30 pilot 175 emulsion tube clip on the 4th from the top, bike is stock except t5's,4 degrees of timing and pods, fresh rebuild also, held 7 pounds for 35 minutes on a leakdown,my question is what needle should i be running and are the 175 emulsion tubes enough? or too big? any input helps, thanks

I can't remember what emulsion tubes I had in mine, 175 sounds familiar. With Pro Circuits and pods I was running 320 mains and 25 pilots. I don't remember the clip position on the needle. What needle are you running. I think mine were a 5L1. I think the 30 pilot mite be a little on the big side.

  12. My buddy was down there for new years and they had a track setup. They are planning on doing it again for Presidents Day pending they get enough donations to keep the equipment running. They kept the track pretty well groomed for the weekend. I'm plannin on heading down with a few guys for the weekend. I know it's tough to get the Oregon guys organized for a ride, but maybe this will get a few guys out there.

Here is a video they posted.

Here is the email that my buddy got from them.

We've had lots & lots of emails from folks saying what a great time they had at last weekend's Sand Jam...most of them asking when the next one would be. So we've scheduled another one for next month!

    FEBRUARY 18, 19, 20. PRESIDENT'S DAY WEEKEND. THIS WILL BE A TWO-DAY EVENT.

Donations for the New Years Sand Jam were "lighter" than we hoped and we kind of "lost our shorts" on it. To do one in February, we need DONATIONS to raise a minimum of $400 for transporting the tractors back in, diesel fuel for re-claiming the track & grooming, porta potties, etc. to pull it off.

We've already gotten donations of $200 from racing friends. So we're half way there. Please help us raise the other $200. If you'd like to donate and make this next event happen, please reply to this email and let us know how much you'll donate so we can start work asap. We'd sure like to keep the momentum going and hold regular events & races at the Box Car track.

    Thanks everyone!

  13. You can float the ground on your stock stator and run a regulator/ rectifier with a battery and run LED's. The Vision X lights are very bright. They are a little expensive but atleast you will be able to obtain the more reliable stock stator. The LED's are much lower wattage with similar output as the HID's. The first pic is a crappy phone pic, but one nice thing about running the battery is you can turn the lights on without the motor running.

I've seen the thread you have over at the trx forum. That thing raptor, if that's what you can call it, is a monster! I would come check it out, but I will be in Coos bay riding. I live about ten minutes from where the races will be.
