I have a 14 and a 44 on mine, with just pro circuit pipes and jetting.. which was great until I had my motor rebuilt by HJR.. I took it out this weekend and it was winding out.. so Kevin told me that stock would work great for the dunes and hard packed dirt So that's what I'm gonna do

Since I'm local to Alba and Duncan.. I tried them and Moto World, Veys, and some other small shops and they wanted just as much in labor as it cost me for parts and labor through HJR. I heard about Kevin before I even found out about this site. My friend has a 450R and 250R and he keeps going back to Duncan even though his 250R run like crap every time I go out with him. He's dumped more money into duncan and into the motor of his 250R than I have in my whole banshee and his bike barely can make the dunes in Pismo Beach.

For some reason I can't find a price on the work shocks.. any idea how much they go for?

I went to a motorcycle shop tonight (cycle parts west) they have elka shocks (no reservoir).. lone star +2 a arms.. and the brake lines for $1,000 Sound like a good deal?

Yeah for my budget I think I'm gonna go with the wicked or full flight +2 arms and then look for some 450 shocks.. when I have a little bit more extra money

I just had a question for anyone who feels like answering What were some of your reasons on why you went with a 2 plus instead of a 3.. or 3 plus instead of a 2

Ya he told me not to worry about it either Just ride as usual.. I'm going to Ocotillo Wells instead of the dunes for my first trip... I haven't rode in so long..and Im sure I will have a lot more power now.. so I need to get use to it again lol

Ya I know.. I thought it was all drained when we took the bike apart... but there was just enough gas in it to start it... and let it idle.. I will drain it completely and put all new stuff in it before I ride it

I just got my banshee back from Kevin last night He rebuilt the top and bottom end.. and did some work with my carbs.. some new domes and some plate my for cool head.. and took the boost bottle off lol I didn't get it ported.. yet.. but I did get the 4 mil crank I have some other little things that need to be fixed but I can't wait to ride it this weekend Kevin was a super nice guy to deal with.. and explained everything and answered all my questions and then some I haven't heard my banshee run in over 2.5 years.. and she sounds better now than she ever did.. and that was with 2.5 yr old gas in it lol
