Why mess with the radiator and water pump? If you want to just throw money at it suspension is where it's at.

Ohm your plug boots and make sure they're good. Or just buy new ones they're cheep.

If I purchased a bike used first thing to do is a compression check and leak down test. If your intake manifolds have air leaks your going to be chasing jetting problems with larger jets. 1211, hondabond, or Yama bond on the intake gaskets seals them up nicely. The single carb requires a much smaller pilot and needle taper is critical. Your main will depend on porting. Could be anywhere from 165 to 205 depending on what's done or not done to cylinders.

Depends on porting ^

Don't go to 190 until you do a plug chop, I was at over 200 with porting.

42 to 45 pilot and eek or eej needle,, start there.

Mull engineeering has a real nice one, not sure if any are better than others but that's the one I'd buy.

Fireball makes a great swing arm.

Get the dual pingel and be safe, put the ball back in your gas cap other wise gas will spill out if you tip the bike over.

I had to do the collars also.
Completely baffled, running issue, can not figure this thing out...

Was a leak down test ever done? Sounds like the head leaked originally which could have caused damage. The gaskets around the reeds always leak unless some 1211 was used.
