I plan on going to mx tracks just to play around. My friend has a yfz that has long travel suspension on it so I can get the stockers. What all is needed to do the swap? I understand it will sit lower but I have seen how DDQ runs his shee on mx tracks with the yfz front end. So I think it will work just fine for me. Becides, It's free. Do I need anything other than arms and shocks? I asume i'll have to have longer tie-rods.
u have to cut the lower arms

i just got a 1987 banshee(j arm of course) and it has a play in the steering stem. it feels like i can pull it up and down about an inch. when i drive it expecially at high speeds, i feel vibration from the whole bike itself. the chain was loose and the axel so i tighten it up and it got a little better but still looks like the rear wheel is a little wobbling at high speeds. i also was thinking maybe the ball joints are a little messed up in the frontend that maybe causing the vibration too cuz the front right wheel wobbles a bit. i hear you cant change the balljoints on the j arms also..? any solution i can try to diagnose these problems? also is there a aftermarket place that sells j arms? ive been trying to find them but no hope. would really appreciate all the help i can get much. thanks
go through the bike and tighten everything lol hubs steering stem, etc.
