  3. Ok, I've been lucky as to not have to do this before. Only thing I've done to carbs is jetting and tors delete. Any quick tips on how I'll know they're as they should be?

  4. i dont reconmend painting it, i painted mine i sanded it with 220 320 lightly with 180 then lightly sandblasted then sprayed adhesion promoter and painted with base clear. it lasted a year and then it bubbled like crazy i ended up scraping it off and sanding it smooth put some stickers on i poked a bunch of holes with a needle so the tank can breath it seems to help with stickers staying on.

  5. I just did my plastics i used 400 - 600 - 800 - 1000 - 1500 lightyl then i used 800 went back over lightly just to scratch it up a bit so the paint sticks better, if you can get them lightly sandblasted it helps the paint stick . USE adhesion promoter . I used automotive base/clear and flex agent, the flex agent is used on plastic parts (|bumpers) the bottle will say to use so much i used 20%-30% more use it in the clear too.

I rolled my bike last year the front plastics broke the paint didnt chip around the brakes the back got scuffed but no chips anywhere.

  6. well im planning on buying some FMF Fattys, and v-force 3 reeds, then i might buy carbs, i live north of Toronto, Ontario Canada, lots of place are wet or have muddy spots. i just typed "banshee carbs sticking when wet" in google and everything that came up said went through a puddle , every time it rains, went through some mud, throttle stuck wide open, some said to eliminate buy new carbs or deal with it, some said they bought pwk 28's and it dont happen anymore. i drilled 6 3/4 inch holes in my air filter box lid bbut there wasnt really much water in the box , maybe some got in there

  7. i went thru a deep puddle my throttle stuck wide open i used the kill switch to keep from reving to the moon, when i got ou tafter a few seconds it was normal. I've read in forums that this is a common banshee problem with stock carbs, and the only way to eliminate the problem is to get rid of stock carbs, im thinking of going with PWK28 my banshee is stock i've done the tors removal im going to buy fmf fattys and vforce 3 reeds. what i want to know is will they work?

  8. the kit i bought is has the same jets a dyno jet kit has... should i go and buy a set of stock jets like 200,220,240 stock neddles?

my buddy used to have 2 banshees he used 200 summer 240 winter , i told him what i bought he said i should run 270 summer 290 winter with that kit tell me what u think

  9. X2

You will be rich all winter, no matter how cold it gets.

I bought this aftermarket jet kit, the instructions say "for stock banshee stock pipes use 270 main aftermarket pipes use 280

it gives me 2x 270 2x 280 2x 290 2x 300 2x340 and after market neddles its a factory pro jet kit. it runs pritty good i got a 280 in it now im gonna try a 290 what do you think? in the summer its 70F-*86F now its 25F and dropping

  10. hey i have a question if im running 25 pilots and 270 mains stock pipes no filter lid at sea level and between 68F-80F (live in toronto ontario canada)and the temperature is gonna drop to 15F-25F the coldest would be -10F, what should i do with my pilot jet 27.5?and main jet 290 300? and what is 1 size up from 270 275?

  11. hey i got this 87 banshee im new to this, so i rebuilt both top and bottom end. right now its running pritty good i got a 25 pilot 270 main 4th clip. lid on w/ 6 inch holes/ gonna remove itand stock pipes. 0-200 feet above sea 10c - -3c / 25f - 45f it gonna get colder. i need to do a plug chop and go from there i thinks its pritty good sounds good. says to use 270 w/ stock pipes. if its good for now at what temp should i try a bigger jet? or should i try a 280 and maybe the 3rd,4th clip?
