Hey guys, im putting up my 2003 gasgas wild hp 300 for sale. its located on Long Island, NY. Im selling it because It never gets ridden and just sits. I am the 3rd owner, and I know both of the previous owners, it has never been raced. It has many mods and runs great! tight motor with good compression! Some of the mods are:
trail/mx ported
Milled Head
LTRacing Powervalve cover
Aftermarket stator with lights removed(comes with stock stator with lights, horn, turn signals, etc)
ITP t-9 Baja 4-1 Front wheels-1 ride on them(comes with original wheels also)
Tag 1 1/8 bar clamps-1 ride
Tag T2 Alias blue 1 1/8 Handle bars-1 ride
ODI lock on grips-1 ride
Tinted black light hood(comes with stock one for lights)
Cut front plastics
Shockwears shock covers
This quad is really peppy and fast, its faster than my old ported, piped and carb banshee, and my old 13:5:1 compression YFZ. It has low hours and is in overall great condition. These bikes come race ready straight out of the factory too equipped with ohlins shocks, chromoly a-arms and subframe, anti-vibe stem, Brembo brakes, Magura hydraulic clutch, 5 gallon tank, etc! The rear plastics have a few cracks, but have been repaired and are fine.
I have the title for it as well. im looking for 3500 OBO. Mainly looking for cash, but Let me know what you have for trades. thanks!

yeah, you can just get clamp adaptors. my gasgas has them and they work good, pretty cheap too. plus with the 1 1/8 bars, they reduce vibration, so thats also a plus. i run them 1 1/8 bars on all my bikes/quads. http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productDetail.do?navType=type&webTypeId=70&navTitle=Handlebars-Control&webCatId=12&keyword=1+1/8+CLAMP&prodFamilyId=3154

Yea, guy was running a shitty chain and it broke, guy wasnt the best welder and went alittle crazy around the 2 pinch bolts, holds up fine, doesnt loosen up or anything, stock swinger could be had for cheap or a little powder coat would hide it
alright just checking. clean bike, i wish i had the money! wanna trade for my gasgas?
-
its hard to tell in the pics, but is the left side of the carrier housing on the swinger re-welded?

Im with jbooker on this one.. I tried a twist throttle .....ONCE. Sucked balls. Its different than being on a bike. If you like it cool, but im telling you guys buy either a terry cable or my preference the chariot thumb throttles and put in some easy springs, no more sore thumbs.
x3, IMO, a twist throttle for a quad is terrible. I hate them on quads. I had a warrior throttle on my old shee with my 28mm PWK's, and it was a lot easier than my brothers shee with stock carbs and stock throttle. Also, the moose racing throttle assembly made my bros throttle a lot easier, it is pricey though.

Talk all the shit u want about the kawasaki stickers on a banshee. I only see some of you's as hater's when it come to u being jealous of it looking better then yours. And if u think 103mph is slow then u must be faster good for you. then don't go putting and yamaha stickers on your automobile if there not yamaha then.
oooohhh mr tough guys banshee does 103mph! Gettin' a little butt hurt over these comments aren't you? either way, your an idiot for having kawi stickers on a yamaha. I ride both kawis and yamaha's, and would never do that.

Quick question is there anything besides the 2 springs that holds the exhaust to the engine one of my pipes is loose (I can wiggle it arround) and spitting black oil allover my bike and I want to get it fixed thanks
yeah, there should be exhaust hangers on each side, under the side mounts of the front plastics.

dont have your dad hit anything with a hammer if the parts dont come off easy!

i had the wicked +2+1's on my old banshee. they were awesome!
-
my question is, how do you horn out a cylinder?
-
long island!!! that explains it!
my apologies
that explains what? why long island has little to no where legal to ride? o_0

Well as the title states what can I do to get the most out of stock shocks so they won't blow out? I know not jumping it off the ground is one but my stocker went out without warning for no reason. I do ride pretty fast even when semi rough but its not overkill, I notice they generate lots of heat when I ride but I don't think heat that is not burning heat will be bad for them? Any help really appreciated as well as a suggestion for mildly priced aftermarket shocks anyone recommends.
take them off while there not blown, sell them on ebay, and buy you some new/used ones like works!

Repsol 2t FTW!
-
anyone have pics of ims or clarke tank installed on the banshee? and #2 problem is that my powdercoated chrome swinger has stains on it from i think my son(8 yrs old) sprayed simple green on the swinger and let it dry without wiping it off,,will simple green really stain the chrome finish like that? if so is there anything to use to clean off? thanks
well, i cant help you with the O.S tank, but most degreasers will stain and dull chrome or polished finish. and you have to brillo or repolish it to get it back. never dull polish works great for helping get the shine back.

wicked +2+1 a-arms on ebay. i've ran them on my old shee, and completely recommend them for the price and quality!

No blinkers?
thats what your hands are for!
