  1. Got the Same Run around from them as well had many many frustrating calls to scott and Golden West, After all was said and done I got them installed with the Elka Lt shocks, Went ridding and things are so far so good, I took the leager name of the arm-s to say f%&k them as I don't advertise for company's that suck. Would never go with them again not worth the money. I feel for you man.

  2. I belive roll design has the +1 long travel a-arms and I belive there is some still on ebay trying to sell a set. I currently just got my set of leager +2 LT setup wiht elkas, I don't recomend this route after my recent experience. And Houser makes A LT setup as well.

  3. Ok sorry, I haven't got back on here in awhile. Finally got my Freaking a-arms from leager and just as I figured Great welds but crapy Powdercoating and handling care, I'm am very discusted with there product and customer support and to top it of there isn't even any Waranty for the damn things! For those of you wanting this setup stay away from leager after my experence latly they arn't worth the money, still would say that there are a graet a-arm but shitty business ethecs every since the sold out to the new owner's.

  4. Well I don't really have anything nice to say about GWC but at leat they were only telling me what leager was telling them. I spoke Directly to Scott at leager about my A-arms and He basically brushed me of saying powder coating can take awhile to set up, (B.S.). I know that I'm not some multi-million dollar corprate race team but hell my 2 Grand ought to count for somthing.

  5. Ok So here goes I need to vent a bit. Back in Febuary the 12th to be exact I placed an order through Golden-West Cycle For a set of Ekla Lt Shocks and Leager Lt a-arms, the web site said it would take 2-3 week's for delivery of my order and that is what one of there sale's guy said as well. Well 2 week went buy I checked there site and there was a tracking # for my order It was the shocks from Elka man these are a work of art, Couldn't of asked for a better shock. So I called GWC and asked when I should get my a-arms and they told me in about an other 2 week's. So patiently I waited for my arms and 2 weeks later I called them up and they told there were still working on them at leager, but they'd let me know when they would ship. So after many phone calls to GWC on and off agian I was told last thursday that they are going to ship out friday of last week, Cool I thought. So today I called to get the Tracking # and the told me that they were still at the powder coater, My responce was" that's what I was told 3 Week's ago!", after holding back my anger I asked for Leager's # and proceded to call what a Waste of time, Tere is not one sole there that give's a damn about the little guy. I am so pissed off I am ready to just say F'it and cancel my order but I really don't want to have to deal with this again with some other company. Sorry for the rant but I'm not the only guy on here waiting for their a-arms :banghead:

  6. I recently placed my order with Goldenwest cycle back in Feb 12 for the Laeger Lt setup and I'm still waiting on the A-arms as well, I keep getting the run around, I feel for you man If i didn't really need them at this point i'd be canceling my order as well. What Color did you go with!

  7. Spoke to Kevin at herjugg and asked him a similer Question, His responce was that the 33 would retain the bottom end but would not provide a strong top end compared to the 35 he did recomend either the 34mm PJ or the 35mm PWK all around he said to go with the 35mm.

However I also talked to Cascade Inovation's They told Me that they recomended the 28mm PWK all around with the Dune Port on stock Cyclinder up to a .060 over bore regardless of stock or +4mil crank, and that he personally has never had good luck with the 33PWK. He did tell me that he would only suggest that you get the 35mm PWK's if you were going with a cheetah Cub setup and 4mill on Up.

Now Personally I have had excellent results with the 28MM PWK's and I had a Mild Dune Port stock Bore/crank and It worked flawlessly for me Never had Jetting issues at 5000 feet or at sea level I did rejet the maind ofcourse for the diff. alt. but it was pretty much set and forget.

Now I know that Duncan Racing National Kit has the options for the 35mm PWK but the use the 34mm PJ with Great results over the years and that motor was stock bore and Crank, But highly ported.

    so the choice is yours!

  8. I wanted to know if it is possible to get a roundhouse carrier for the stock swingarm and axle.

I want the easier chain adjustment, but I don't need to change the swingarm.

    Thanks,

    Alan

Note Really You can have a piece welded on But it would still involve taking the Swinger off, I suggest you try E-bay for A complete Replacement You can alway's find good deal's for 100 to 200 dollars with a carrier.

  9. well, i dont have a fancy tool as of yet. but i will be splitting the cases and removing the crank.... so they normally slide out after circlips eh? im probley gonna just beat them out ill jam a piece of weed against teh side of the rod (doesnt really matter anyway it needs new rod bearings)

much obliged, its getting light out gotta go to sleep before the sun cracks the surface..... graveyard shift is great eh'?

Yeah Graveyard Great, I sugest try soaking it in somthing like PB blaster or WD40 and let it soak in, I also had similare issues I had to use a brass punch and gently persuade it while supporting the Rod.

  10. The piston that came apart was a Yamaha piston, I just put the other one next to it so you can reference it. This was a result of riding it half a mile after the rod disconnected itself from the piston. There wasn't any strong vibration coming from the engine and I didn't feel like pushing it home, so i lugged it back on one cylinder. In hindsight I wish i would have shut it down and pushed it back.. It is at passion right now and I am waiting on Jim to call me and let me know how much damage it did. The funniest thing was when I pulled the head off both pistons were at TDC.

Wow That is some serious carnage It's been a long time since I've seen that, The last one I saw when I had to out of town to change A cylinder on a radial engine but the motor was grenaded. Cool pic.

  11. Yeah good luck on that Rear axle I had to heat mine a while back and then Hammer it out Use a 4X4 piece of wood on the end of the axle. And Make sure you use Lock-Tite 242 on the Screw and torque it in with 6-8 Ft-lbs I've seen what can happen if you don't its not pretty!
