  1. We've been going every memorial weekend since 96... it's a blast, just gotta bring rain gear. i only remember one year i was actually miserable because of the cold, and that was the year i wasn't drinking and my bike broke down. the people are cool as hell memorial. we normally stay at the Idahodunesrv if you are running alky it won't be ideal though.

  2. I agree with OP, but i just ignore it and look for the knowledgable posts. I know for a fact half these guys live at home and wait for there allowance to buy fuel for there suppossed banshee. Seriously if ur on here and that bored maybe u should get a job and a banshee and u wont be so bored.

There really are some dickweeds on this forum! lol!

  3. Since i live in Utah and we have sand mountain at little sahara. Almost every banshee add you see automatically says:

"90+ up the face of sand mountain."

sometimes they like to throw in "90+ up the face of sand mountain with my GF on the back."

other popular phrases "Wheelies all the way up the face." and "I can pull the front end in all 6 gears"

  4. ok I will look at some of those dates and see what we can do thanks a bunch. I pmed Tyler a week ago and even pinned him down in the shout box but haven't heard back so I don't think it's gonna get the go ahead has an offical banshee HQ ride but oh well it will still rock.

It's all good, it doesn't have to be official BHQ or anything, but it's always good to ride with a few other banshee's! Also nice to hit the dunes with someone that knows them, we were lost as fuck our first couple times out at glamis, only after 3 years do we really have that place figured out.

  5. That sounds great hopefully we can make this happen. Once I finish building my bike im going to try and really get going on making this happen. Id love to see what we can do. Big red and I have even talked about me bring a light tower from work to light up the drag hill at night. This could be a fun time.

Hell yeah, i suppose the plan would be to set up camp and stay a night or two... later july or early august works best for me, but i can make about anything past memorial weekend work.

  6. Welp, We were doing our grocery shopping today for glamis, and when I was in Sams Club, I got a call from my doctor's office letting me know I have a CT scan tomorrow. He doesn't want me going until he gets the results. Looks like I'm sitting out presidents day weekend.

    That really sucks dude!

I'll be there tomorrow afternoon, staying in wash 10, silver ext dodge and grey enclosed a few banshees! stop by for a brewskie

  7. it's really gonna depend on what kind of power you are looking for, I've had both PC's and T5's on my bikes.

If you like to really rev it out and have a good top end you will want the Toomeys, if you want a lot of mid range response definetly go with PCs. the first banshee that i really built from the ground up was a top end duner it had a aggressive dune port, T5's and 34 PJ's, i loved it because it would fly hard and fast, but it was all top end, it had no mid or bottom. I built a new bike which i like more though because it is so versatile and i never have to shift. it is an aggressive torque mid range port with PC's and trinity 2into1 intake with a 36pj. I always get the holeshot and i can click it into 3rd and ride from one end of St. Anthonys to the other at a pretty fast pace.

What kind of riding do you do primarily?

  8. how are you guys shipping your chassis's? Iwas told greyhound will ship stuff. I called them and they said they can only ship stuff upto 30x47x82 My frame meets all them but the length..... whats the easiest cheapest way to ship something this big?

My frame was shipped to me via UPS, it was wrapped in shrink wrap. it only cost about $150 for the frame and a huge tote full of other parts. so i don't think it would be that costly.

That was from MI to UT

  9. IF you are worried about it being stolen, get the vin # off of the frame and call the fuzz or the DMV can do it, but the wait isn't worth it, they can run it to see if it's stolen. I have done this a couple times here in Utah it was really easy to do, if it's not stolen get a bill of sale and you can get it titled, at least that's how it works here.
