  2. i have used the wrap on my trx450r.. I had a custom wrap made for the tank.. what i had to do was take off the tank, drain all the gas and let it sit for 10 days with the lid off (i put cheese cloth over the hole to keep the dirt out).. Then i took the wrap down to have it installed... they told me to let it sit for 4 days before filling it up with gas again.. I waited a week and it held up excellent.. It just got wore out from my kneepads rubbing against it.. i got the wrap redone and this time i had them put a clear layer over the wrap on the tank.. i think it was a 4 mil additional protection..

you might have to follow the above but have some little holes cut into to let it breathe.. the main thing is to let it air out before and after.. they say the tank actually soaks up the vapor and lets it out thru the plastic..

  3. 41-43hp

I just got my Shee over a month ago my cousin showed me this site and it encourged me to mod the shit out of my quad with what money i had.

    I got

    06 Shee

    CPI Drag Pipes

    V3 Reeds

    Cool head 21 Domes

    Dyno FS Ignition

    KN Intake

Lockout See threw clutch :) its perty :)

So my question is how much HP do i have in what little mods i have done so far and when i go to the Dunes in may should any of the 4 strokes be a problem for me to beat?

I will be adding pics of my quad soon :)

But yoru community looks great its to bad you guys just got a new member who cant spell.

  4. 6 paddle was were it was at!! couldnt have been happier!! after i get my spare jugs back from being ported (next 2 weeks) i will probaly go to a 7 paddle extreme... for the soft sand and long hills @ Amargosa and at Dumont.. 6 paddles is where its at on a stock banshee w/pipes

  5. Just Yesterday I was running a 280 main 25 pilot and needle position was #4 on the toomey needle.. I did a plug chop, swap the plugs, drove home and cut them open... They were perfect! Text book Perfect 2mm brown ringed beuaties.. Airbox lid was off running a Single K&N filter.

Today i just got done installing my Noss Head w/20cc Domes, installed the K&N pods.. I jetted to 330 main 27.5 pilot and left the needle on position #4. Since Compression was 161 (both Cylinders) i put in 100 octane w/ 32:1 Klotz Techniplate.

After my plug chop a few hours ago.. Followed the chop procedure to a T. When i pulled my plugs i noticed the ground strap (the part you bend when gapping) was a white and a little ashy. After cutting the plug open a saw a .5mm very light almost unnoticable ring.

So i know i am lean, but being perfect with a 280 jet one day and then adding pods and a coolhead the next day. Then jetting up to a 330 main after these 2 mods sounds like a huge step... now i'm guessing to go to a 350-360 main, plug chop and see what they look like..

Im am not new to jetting, but i am new to banshees and the carb setup, and exactly where i should start..

    Any suggestions? Mods below..
