  1. We have since sold off all our Banshees and for time being we no longer ride. When I sold my wifes bike the guy wanted the stock seat with the stock red radiator cover. So these parts have just been sitting in the coloset taking up space.

Banshee seat with new pink and black cover. The seat is in great condition. The cover was put on and she only rode it a few times before selling it. Comes with latch.

Aftermarket maier black radiator cover use only a few times also.

and last a billet throttle cover that I never got used on a actual ride. I put it on and she didnt like it.

I am asking $100.00 Plus shipping for all 3 pieces or Best offer.

Please email me direct at SSINCITY@AOL.COM

Becuase I no longer check this forum mail.

Thanks to the forum members that have helped me out with technical info and where to find the best deals. and hope everyone rides safe.

    Ryan.

  2. okay, after a ruff weekend of riding. I am faced with either replacing my frame and laeger swinger. I have multiple cracks in my frame and both sides of my swinger.

Or just part my joyride out. Many many parts on this bike are aftermarket. Or my other option is to just sell as a whole and hope for a decent offer. Its the bike in my sig.

I am in Vegas, so if any locals are interested please email me.

But I wanted to check to see what the interest would be if I part it out. And before taking it to ebay.

  3. I got my kit from Jeff. in the kit there are 2 screws and 2 nuts. But one of the screws is threaded all the way to the head and the other is only threaded to just about the top but not all the way.

What screw goes in what carb?

does the threaded to the top go in the right or does the one that is not threaded to the top go in the right?

    Thanks again for the help.

OH, THIS IS NOT FOR MY BIKE! THIS IS FOR THE WIFES BIKE!

  4. hey ssincity, is that rhino lining on your plastic?

It is the same type of coating that linex and rhino use. But it is put on at a lower pressure so that you do not get that sand paper type texture.

Others that have had it done by rhino or linex have complained that theres is hard to keep clean and has faded to a dull black.

due to the lower pressure mine has more of a wide spread texture and cleans with just a spray off. Plus it has a special clear coat that is formulated for this type of coating. It is different then auto paint clear.

I have kicked the crap out of the kick side rear fender and it looks just like the day I put them on..

I know its not for everyone. But like my sig says. ITS MY BANSHEE!

  5. LOL bansheerider69, firehead and I were playin' back and forth. I wasn't really counting on getting it since I saw the post later than most. No big deal. I've got too many of the damn things as it is already. Ha Ha Ha!

You can never really have too many things! Well... unless its exwives, and 4 strokes!

  6. I have 2 pairs of Fox pants that are new with tags and would like to sell. And I have one matching jersey to one of the pants.

I am just looking to get some of my cash back so make me a offer in a PM or email and we can go from there.

I am in Vegas so if any one wants to do a local pick up that is cool too.

Both pants retailed at $149.99 (x2)

    the jersey retails at $39.99

One pair of pants is size 34

    the other is size 36

    the jersey is XL.

Please pm me or email me ssincity@aol.com for photos. They were really hard to photograph so I just have the stock photos from the web.

  7. Has anyone got a duncan racing bumper on their banshee?

I want to get some measurements so i can fab up my own.

any help would be much appreciated.

    thanks, Mark.

Hey Mark. I was told by the prev owner of my banshee that he installed a Duncan front bumper. Some have argued in depth that it is or is NOT. I really dont care becasue it is the same style. Look at my sig line pics if it will work let me know. And I can get you measurements.

    Thanks

    Ryan

  8. Do a plug chop. That'll tell you if you need to change the mains. Where in Vegas do you live? I'm out in the northwest.

Hey Man, I am near the Suncoast. you close? OH and forgot to mention. It is hard to start. Pull the choke and kick and wot for about 6 times and then it goes. Then once warmed up it will kick on first. But if you sit for 10-15 min then its hard to start again.

  9. I was thinking that maybe CT ported the cylinders to have more top end power, which would take away from low-mid power. Porting for top end can create flat spots down low, but if it is sputtering and stuttering you may just have a rich jetting issue. If you think jetting is the issue, you need to go leaner on the needle. Raising the clip toward the top (blunt end) of the needle will make it leaner. Lowering the clip toward the bottom (pionty end) of the needle will richen the mixture. Try raising the clip and see if the flat spot goes away.

okay, just got back in from riding. Moving the clip up towards the blunt end did a world of diff in the powerband.

I am running 155/48 jets. Should I change those out and readjust the needle back down?

    Thanks for the great advice

  10. Is this a problem that just started, or has it always been like that? Could be any number of things. Are the cylinders stock? If not, who ported them, and what kind of porting? Stock carbs and needles? May just need a fatter needle.

Sorry, I guess I took for granted most would read my sig.

I got the bike as a project it was a some what running ct racing 370 stroker motor with pwk 28's cool head ported ect.......was built for a recreational rider for glamis, which is at zero sea level.

It sat for about 1.5 yrs before I got it.

I got it and tore it down to just frame and motor.

But I did eventually pull the carbs and clean (more then twice) and the reeds and soaked them.

I rode it once with a funny noise then pulled it all apart and replaced my clutch plates and other parts while in there.

Buttoned it back up and and its better then before but just kind of boggs down a little not a lot. but sure is not a peppy as the old ladys bike (stock with t5's and jetket airfilter) but in the long run will flat run like a WILD banshee.

It was on the 4th clip on the needle, I moved it to the third to see if would help. Maybe I should go the other way?

I am no expert but atleast I am not taking it to the stealer!

  11. Okay put my new clutch parts in. That all works fine, Moved my needle down to the 3rd clip and still suffering from flat spots on the lower rpms. Once it gets up on rpms it pulls hard. But just doesnt seem to come up. THe jets are 155/48 we are at just over 2000ft here in Vegas. Any one have any ideas? I have never owned a stroked shee. This is a 370 that we have been toying with and once it gets up it moves! But on the lower end it sucks really bad!

    Thanks

  12. ok are you talking the little round clutch cushions that go in the basket or the orings that go under the steels and fibers in a clutch.

you said clutch cushions, and they way your talking it seems like the orings???

THe cushions that go in the back of the basket and gear on my HINSON basket. The ones that were (i just got them all in) harder then fk(( to get in.. I got the new red ones from Jeff.

  13. I have a 87 for sale. It has a rebuilt motor and runs very strong. FMF, K&N, rebuilt carbs, new rear tires, ITP rear rims, brand new +4 swing arm still in box.

I bought it thinking i was going to rebuild it from top to bottem, but i dont have the time right now to finish it. It rips as is, just doenst look that good. I can deleiver within a reasonable distance. If you are interested I can e-mail you pictures, email me at

    mam0802@westminstercollege.edu

thought i would give you guys first chance before i list it on e-bay.

    PM sent

  14. Before I go tearing up a decent clutch basket and gear, could someone tell me what all I need to do to rebuild the assembly? Here's what I got, my clutch basket has about 1/8th inch rotational play while holding the gear on the back....is this because of the cushions? I don't know what cushions look like or where they go. I'm in uncharted territory for myself here!

    Thanks!

    Matt

I am in the middle of doing the same, but I have a billet clutch basket. Is yours stock? If you need any parts. I highly recommend Jeff at F.A.ST. FOR ALL YOUR PARTS.

  15. for anyone who has not seen this banshee in person, it is a must see the lining on the fenders is badass.....the whole bike in general is very nice......a must see

Thanks Jason. I know "TO EACH HIS/HER OWN" And again I know there will be haters and disapprovals. But thats okay with me. Its my bike and I am happy with it.

Did you get your new grill on?
