    after:

any feedback would be just dandy

oh and i "borrowed" the shocks and bumper from Stinger in his yfz shock install thread, hope he dont mind...

    ...

  2. Thats there to adjust the slack in the cable, not how hard the pull is.

There are only 3 ways to soften the pull:

    1. Use lighter clutch springs. BAD because the clutch will slip.

    2. Buy a easy pull lever setup.

    3. Buy a hydraulic clutch lever.

An override tranny is meant only for drag racing. You have to pull in the clutch when you are off the gas or else you will bend the shift forks.

I know its not what you want to hear, but you just got to get used to it. You will eventually.

When my clutch pull was starting to become a bit much, i went to RockyMountainatv.com and bought a Motion Pro Terminator clutch cable for like 20 bucks... best 20 iv ever spent!!

  3. all you need to do is prove that any Yamaha is safer than the rest and you will have persuaded 80% of the people...

yfz- great balance and wide stance

raptor 700r- manageable power + efi (saves gas so hippies love it)

    banshee- has a soft seat

opposing argument : the banshee is a monstrously fast machine!! thats not safe!!... then you say: it is for experienced riders only

    hope this helps...

ps: what class is this for man?....when i have a speech it is usually about some political issue like illegal immigrants, global warming, and the war in Iraq...

  4. the cheapest : yfz shocks

best value : WORKS shocks (start at about 350 a set)

bast performance ; elka (start at about 450 a set)

this is excluding a-arms, which you should get when getting new shocks

    cheapest : yfz a arms

sort of cheap (quality may be an issue here) : ASR/Fullflight off ebay (start at around 300 a set)

better : Quicksand, Wicked (start at around 400)

best : roll design, and everything else above 1k

you will prolly also want some longer brake lines ~ 50 bucks..

you could also look into one of those package sets with like a arms, brake lines, and elkas for 750-1000

if i was going to race i would defiantly invest in a good a-arm/shock combo....

  5. There have been complaints from victim's famalies because the news guys wont let them grieve in peace. Plus, the entire point of a school shooting is to get noticed, it is a huge (and evil) publicity stunt just to rebel against the system, and the news has made it a hundred times worse by giving this maniac all this attention. I agree with the previous posters in that we shouldn't put HIM in the spotlight, but i also think we should respect the victim's loss, and let them grieve for their loved ones in peace.

200 innocent civilians were killed in Baghdad today. 32 at VT. When tragedy shows it's face here at home, numbers become more than numbers, and we see how cruel a place the world can be. 200 in Iraq, 32 in VT, i mourn them all.

  6. i actually bought my banshee off ebay..

the guy lives 20 mins away from me and i called him up and asked how much he would let it go for, i was ready to go up to 2300 for it, he said "no ill let the auction end"

i won the auction for 2025....

    yay me

wit that cash i got me a new headsaver an some boots...

i guess ebay is kinda a hit or miss??
