  1. Ive got a Diablo Intune, ran it on my 6.0 vortec. It made a decent difference, has quite a bit of adjustability, can adjust the ECM and TCM with it, lower torque management, run data logs, get some custom tunes made, and scan diagnostics with it.

I have a buddy that does EFI live tuning, had him tune my truck and its night and day difference how much better a GOOD custom tune is, and its cheaper.

I now have my diablo intune on my 4.8 vortec work truck, works good enough for that truck.  So with all that said if you can get a custom tune done its well worth it, if not the diablo intune is a decent unit.

  2. Yes you need a press. The type of press depends on what you are doing. I use progressive presses for reloading pistol, shotgun and non precision long gun. For my precision stuff, i still mostly single stage load. It takes longer but im not loading volumes and volumes of rounds and i feel i get a better final product. Single stage reloading is also much easier to do when you are working up a load or experimenting with different loads. Here is the thing with reloading, you absolutely can save a ton of money IF you shoot a lot. For reference, i can load FMJ 223 for about 11 cents a round, and i load varmint loads for about 25 cents a piece. Thats paying retail for the components. Compare that to what you pay in the store. I also swage my own rifle bullets and cast my own lead pistol bullets. Its a hobby and i enjoy it, so the cost of the equipment is factored into that for me. And i dont consider the cost for my time because again its a hobby. Thats why i stated earlier that if the motivator to reload is money, just quit before you start. It can takes thousands and thousands of rounds to recover the initial cost of all the reloading equipment. There are other reasons to reload, it all depends on how serious you are. Accuracy is a big one. My personal opinion it doesnt matter much in a handgun, but in a rifle the difference can be amazing. The other thing is availability. I can buy and store components to load tens of thousands of rounds. When there is a panic buy like has been going on the last 8 months or so, i dont have to freak out like everybody else. When i need ammo i just go make it. Attention to detail is key and if you fuck up you will blow shit up. Ive seen it done, thank god ive never done it.

This pretty much nails it. Good info.
  3. Get a good book if you have no idea on reloading.

Different calibers use different powders. Different bullet manufactures use different measurements of powder even on the same bullet weight. Need to know about bullet seating, case length, correct primers.

There is quite a bit to it, research

  4. You can make 65HP and 50 TRQ with just the "Big 6" (pipe, programer, FCI intake and filter, stage 3 cams, higher compression piston and a bored throttle body) all on pump gas......

And after that they do start running good, stock not so much.

Mine had barker duals, Pc 3, racers edge ported, mega cycle x2 cam, +2 valves, 12.5:1 piston, 5mil crank, ported throttle body, JJ&A play axle, + 2 swinger, and super lite hauler 7 paddles. After that it hauled pretty good ass, and was a wheelie monster.

  5. I've never had new UFO plastic before so its hard to say on the color. I had that site bookmarked, ordered random stuff from them in the past.

If it was me, I'd either buy all 4 pieces new from maier, or buy the laker front and rears. (Lakers are 1 piece fronts, fender, rad and tank cover all in 1 like fullbore). That way it all matches.

  6. Even though I feel its a stupid rule, a hand down makes it illegal to knee your opponent. Kim Winslow missed this badly, and by the rules Tate should be able to have this turned into a no contest.

If the ufc isn't going to turn it over, get rid of the hand down rule. I'm not trying to say Tate wouldn't have lost, but if your going to have rules enforce them.

  7. Diaz never stood a chance. I honestly wasn't even looking forward to that fight, I knew Condit Hendricks would be the better fight. I think Condit got shafted on a decision based on takedowns that lead to him landing strikes off his back and getting up but yeah, that was the best fight of the night.

  8. Thought Liz was going to pull the choke off early. Nasty bite mark on her arm the next day, she had it tight enough to close Rousey's jaw on her arm.

Rousey is tough, she took one hell of a kick to the boob, them dominated once it went to the mat.

The real test for her is Cat Zingano after she goes through miesha Tate.
