  1. Single a arms over here are only used on graded or smooth hills like dumont , even do you can do a lot of stuff to make it ride right for example a lsr single a arm or Matt shearer chassis is a single a arm , these frames owners will try to avoid going to ride in glamis or pismo , unless it's smooth or graded .

I like to take the most advantage of my drag bike as possible so I prefer the dual a arm frames , you just feel safer , the single a arm ones are light but once you start getting some real speed they feel like a death trap or so I've heard from our jockey , I really don't think the lsr chasis are by any way the best or any thing but dialed in they seem to handle the power and take the hits of a fucked up track , there really isn't any hS custom ones down here but I do know people swear by them .... And please whatever people say about a sand shark frame from lsr take half of what they say and believe it , there is 2 down here that keep on getting send back to lsr time and time again cause they throw chains all the time , for whatever reason ( something w the rear design of the bike and the swing arm pivoting I think is what I hear )

jhon safarian has a hs chassy and its badass

  2. A turbo busa would be cheap. But I'm not into engine swaps

Sent from my HTC6600LVW using Tapatalk

turbo busa has been tried it work off and on to many tranny problems or i dont know...i do like the artic cat 1000 turbo i would have to change my builder to some one thats put one together before and have a frame build around it...idk

  3. i just wanted to know what was out there....18 mil dmx with a stellar +12 chassy with a +14 swing arm i want the fucking thing to hit 90 mph. what are this billet carbs? are they proven to work in the real world? not dyno....i think im not 100% sure  yet but i m thinking about building one last bike but i want it right..yes shearer pipes more than likely...even if it takes me a year to do it if i do it i want a king of the hill build...everything the right set up....right now i have a 4 mil cub set up so good its hard to beat......but ive had it for like 5 years already, it took me a while to dial it in..

  4. OK i would like to know what bike would you build if it was for king of the hill?

what motor? what chassy carbs pipes etc?

what shocks and leignth swing arm?i know ill be calling tim at stellar for a chassy, and almost sure of the builder but i would like to know what everyones thoughts were.....for me is going to be a twin im not intrested in triples..thanks for the input

  5. you have to treat e85 just like methanol. use alky specific oil, jetting from 85 to meth is nearly the same e85 dosent require as much fuel to make a clean burn butits close. for the cost id just go alky as well

thanks ....i think ill be running race gas......i want a fast dunner....thats it.

  6. I'll be going through utah with a crew cab and a big trailer. I'll have enough room for some passengers if anyone wants to jump in with me.

ill try and make it........i have 421 and pretty fast yfz 450 and my ltr 450 for dunning

  7. Calling the 2 Nay Sayer's, that said our asphalt & hill clutch set-up would not work for 300' sand. Proof is in the 60's and we will take care of the wheel spin down track next time out. Plus, the quad will not have a quickly thrown together hodge podge set-up next time.

The only reason we got them 60's was due to the clutch tuning. What do I know, our asphalt stuff only works on the asphalt according to the Nay Sayer's. :P

you talk alot of shit.............can you just shutthefuckup, and quit acting like you're god...........so it works, good for you just chill out have fun and enjoy it like everybody else.

  8. +6 swinger, 21x10x8 9 paddle extreme, and 15 front 42 rear sprocket.

x2 on the gearing and you can also try 10 or 11 regular haulers. blanco your bike looks just like mine and were running almost the same set up...if we ever see each other we'll have to line them up.....

the big impact is 250 ft pounds of torque and the little impact is 85 ft pounds of torque.

  10. Hey young guy I'm planning on running at the hill and the previous owner had the Marvin Shaw rear shock set up for his weight and I'm about 35 pounds lighter that he is. I was considering running Mohawks on the front either a 23 x 8 x 11or the 21 x 7 x 10, but I was not sure which would work best "IF" I run the 22 x 11 x 8" haulers with 12 paddles. The previous owner claimed he was able to still ride the dunes even with a 10" swinger. I'm sure it will take me awhile to get used to that set up since I have not had a chance to get my new ride on the sand as of yet! Now I am just trying to get the right tires to be ready to roll on the sand!!!! :)

i run the hill and i have a 4mil with a +12 swing arm, and run 11 or 12 haulers depending on sand condition on a 8x8 wheel..if your running a stock cylinder 4mil i would say you should be running 10 or 11 haulers or 10 paddle xtremes, if you over paddle you might get some people on the holeshot but youill slow down on top.....i usually run around 3 pounds of air and it works out well.imo

  11. is the lonestar your looking at a "drag axle" or is it a steel axle.

the JJ+A axle for dragging is the ONLY one i would run. for average of 550 they cannot be beat. if lonestar has fixed their overpriced POS axle that would be nice but its still not worth 1000 bucks.

lonestar has a -keyed drag axel, you can get it gunned drill or not...........its lighter than a jjna and i think they look really good, my budddy just bought one for 500 new......

  12. Quick question guys,

Since this is my first time out i just thought of something,

Will i need to rejet going to dumont?

I live in Victorville right now.

280 mains. Not sure what pilots. Needle is either in the middle or one down. I know it is rich right now because that is how it was set-up.

not sure if this helps...........310 main with the stck banshee needle works great.....i think the jetting you currently have is from the toomey kit
