I'm just wondering why the fullbores are a good bit more $. I see way more fullbore than Laker so I'm trying to understand why that is.

I'm about to pull the trigger on some new plastics and wanted to check to see if there was any place with better price that eBay. Whats the difference in these and fullbore to justify the large price difference?

I ride in the dunes and trail ride as well. Very minimal drag racing just for fun, nothing to serious. I might step up to a bigger motor in a year or so, maybe a cub motor. I just know with the stock swing arm and paddle tires the front doesnt stay on the ground in any of the first 4-5 gears.

What size swingarm would work best for my bike? Have stage 2 ported 370. What else would I need to purchse on top of the swingarm to get it to work?

Yeah we ride lower. I dunno, just sucks going to do the dunes and having all the traction you could want then going out there and the bike being almost unridable. Unridable as in no fun because it just spins all over the place. Even going up some of the hills out there its just like spinning all the way up. Need more low end TQ or something lol. Riding either of my buddies bikes they just crawl up the hills like if they were 4x4.

I'm going to the dunes for the first time during presidents day weekend. Do fronts for the dunes make a big difference compared to going with regular dirt tires? If so any suggestions on which ones to get and from where? Thanks

I took it out to local creek riding area around here and other than getting beat to death trying to follow around my buddy on his YFZ450 it was pretty fun. I got smoked pretty bad drag racing him too. I couldnt get any traction at all in the first two gears. There was another guy out there that had a new LE Banshee with T6's (I think that was his only mod) that also lost several times to my buddy on the YFZ. The ground is really lose dirt type riding. My current gearing is 15 front and 44 back. I really liked rolling into 2nd gear and 3rd and 4th seemed pretty quick. I just had traction problems in the dirt, I'm sure once I put the paddles on in the sand it'll be a different story. I'm thinking of going with 14/43. What you guys think?

I'm not hugely interested in top speed so much. I'd rather have better acceleration than top end. I agree the 10 paddles are a bit much but they came with the bike so I'll use them for now. My buddy that I ride with every weekend has a pretty stock YFZ450 so I dont need to much top end haha.... I have a 44 on the back now but that is just what came with the bike. It doesnt mean that is what I have to put back on there.

I'd like to see any others that look similar to the VX-17 Black Matte. I tried it on and I'd like to get something a tad more comfortable if possible. I really like the look of it though so I might have to suck it up and just get that one.

Saw a few negative posts about these a few months back mostly from one person. Anyone else have some more recent info about these. I'm thinking aobut getting the 4500 kit. Here is the kit I'm looking to purchase. I'm looking to spend about $1k or so on front suspension. I live in AZ, and use the bike out at the dunes and out about at various "trail" spots which still end up being pretty much sand. Probably gonna have everyone suggest Elka's but we'll see.
