  1. No...but I'd like to. Are you sure it's a super charger and not a turbo charger?

It takes a BIG set of brass ones to get on a turbo banshee, it separates the men from the boys real quick.

They are just WAY too tempermental on carbs. Fuel Injection is the key for a turbo/super charger.

I'm very familiar with turbo vehicles, so I"m 100% sure it was a supercharger. It was belt driven off the flywheel. The bike was blue and white, there were some youtube videos of it on the site, and this site linked back to the other trick racing site, but the trick racing 1 site didnt link to this one.

There is a guy on PlanetSand that has a supercharged sabertooth honda, it used to be turbo'd I believe but he changed it up. Very cool bike.

  2. I talked to Trey a few months ago...he never mentioned anything....next year sometime?...where are you?...sounds like I owe you Cruz...give me a call and well get together at LS, maybe Whitefield

Work's got me living in Guam for a few months, maybe a year. One of our birds had a gear fire, wing went up in flames, tons of damage. I've only been here 2 months now. Should be March or so before I get home, I'll give you a call. Hopefully I'll be on a 10 over by then.

  3. Jim built my alky cub, and my best friends gas cub. Mine Runs hard, but not often. After getting the running issues fixed it started breaking trannies. Jim stood behind the bike for the first 3 rebuilds, doing them for little or nothing. I couldnt have gotten that anywhere else. I've met Jim, I consider him a friend of mine. I called him excited as a school girl when my bike put down over 100 on the LS dyno. Then the tranny issues started. First I toasted the shift forks in my override. From backloading apparently. Jim fixed it for cheap one afternoon, we shot the shit for awhile and had a good old time. I took the bike out for a few runs around the house then went to little sahara. Didnt even get to the drag strip before I got slipping again. Jim never would answer or return my calls. So it went to FAST. Jeff finds the problem, hopefully its fixed. No beef with Jim, the cub runs very hard. My 6 over is worthless, I need a 10. I just wish he would have at least declined the work instead of ignoring me. Give me a call sometime Jim, I should be home next year sometime. We'll do Sahara.

  4. I believe it, my Alky 421 put down 101 untuned on Little Sahara Powersports Dyno its first time out, and it isnt ported. I run a 12 blade ultralight hauler on a 6 over and I need more swinger, the 12 blades do great for my motor and my buddys motor that is identical but on gas and 35s

  5. got any pictures of the new pipes? i hear some talk about them but i dont know anyone with them and have not seen them. do you have any dyno charts for them? i see a lot of talk, how about some show...

I have a set of the GRR's and I'm in love. Fitment is C+, and if you have a pingle forget about turning your gas off, its impossible. My buddy has the same motor but with Shearers and less internals, but the GRR's feel like they pull harder on top. And they are Show chromed, which I think is a plus. They use pro circuit silencers, which is pretty lame, but they do sound very good. Here's a few pictures before my motor commited suicide.

It ran great... when it got traction

But then it decided it didnt want to live any longer.. Apparently 5 hours was too much for it.

  6. Man I live here in Ft,Worth Texas Im not sure of the Altitude. It is Kinda hard to start at first. But then it Screams when it Warms up.if I am at sea level Should i Run 330 mains to? I have Heard alot of People say that they Ran 300 or Bigger.maybe I'll just buy a few sets of mains and see what works best. I mean my shee doesn't Bog when I gas it. it has Great Throttle Responce all the way to WOT. But im no Expert.I just Found Out That im at 670 Feet above sealevel.

So have you even checked your plugs?

  7. Build quality is excellent, chrome is excellent, fit and accuracy I give a C-, silencers are pro-circuit units (no comment). Most definately going to be leg-burners and a pingle wont clear unless you turn it around until you cant turn the gas off(ever). I haven't compared to Shearers on the dyno but after plugging in the data in my software, its somewhat apparent they will have a little better bottom end and less peak HP than a Shearer SVI on 421 Cub motors...Jim

This is experience with my bike he is referring to. Yes they are leg burners, and I actually broke a pipe hanger on the 3rd ride out. But he's going to replace the pipe as soon as I get off my dead ass and send it back to him. My buddy has the same motor I have, both dynotuned on the same dyno as far as jetting with a little less internal motor work, and by seat of the pants dyno I think the GRR's actually pull harder longer, whereas the Shearers seem to fall off higher up. Shearers felt like they had more mid to high pull, where the GRR's just pulled on top. Low end on both bikes isnt great, too fat on the pilots.

  8. my banshee had the eyes/jaws setup when i bought it. I left it on there for like a week then took it off and put the stock one he gave me on there. I didnt really like the look of it at all, plus it was so hard to grip when you had to pick the bike put becasue all the teeth are sharp!! Heres a picture of my banshee with the jaws/eyes on it when i posted them of ebay, i got $60 for it!!! This picture is so old!

Everytime I see a shee with that setup it doesnt look mean, it looks sad and buck toothed. I'd rather have a blingstar, or better yet, a big ass stick zip tied to the front of my banshee over a jaws bumper.

  9. 17 will be too much for the sand.

It depends on if it's fluffy dry sand or wet sticky sand....

14 and 15 would be nice to bring....

I think 16 or 17 would be too much unless you're on hardpack or ashphalt....

    Going with 15t, thanks guys.

  10. If my Honda stays together I will be there, or if Passion Racing gets done with my Cub motor I will be breaking the Shee in the right way, look for a bright yellow framed 250r with red plastics or a black Fullbored banshee with a purple frame, ugly light blue a arms and a little billet.

  11. That's pretty much what I came across before I moved. As far as emissions... OK still has laws against it, but they don't inspect vehicles to see what levels they're at. As long as it's not smoking bad enough to cause a henderance to visibility, law enforcement doesn't really care.

But of course, it also depends on where you're at. OKC, bethany, war acres, moore, choctaw, edmond, norman, and yukon cops never had a problem with my red LED windshield washer sprayers... but Del city cops sure as hell did, and let me know it. Go figure... my luck I got a female cop who was on a power trip and trying to show me that she was the boss. How in the hell does "If you have something to cut the wires, I'll clip them and solve the problem right now" get a response of "SIR!! Please stay inside the vehicle with your hands on the steering wheel or I will draw my weapon!"

Oklahoma doesnt mind smoke that much :rotflmao:

I'd love to get my shee street legal in Oklahoma, if you learn anything let me know.

  12. I'm trying to decide what gearing to run. I'm building a monster dune bike (at least I like to think a little 421 is a monster). Setup will be a Passion built drag ported 421 cub, 35mm's, lockup yada yada yada. with 22x11x8 12 paddle tripple buff haulers. I will be running a 42 tooth rear, and I cant decide between a 15t or a 17t. Will the 17t be too much? I was running 15/41 on a 55 horse 420 and I could spin the 12 paddles just fine, so I'm thinking I can pull the 17t, but I'm not sure. Any experience/imput? Thanks.

  13. Yup, They will be here today. Purchased the 22-11-8 12 paddle ultra lites from cascade. Thanks for the info guys.

I'm building the same motor and swingarm and same paddles, what are you doing about gearing?

  14. What color is your frame? I'd do a mostly orange cover and add maybe some flames or just a splash of whatever color your frame is. I'm not a big fan of bikes with totally different seat cover colors, look around at a few, you may like it, but be sure you're happy with the finished product.
