  1. who are the moderators?
  2. LOCATION?? what do they measure eye to eye?
  3. DDQ, thats awesome news! well, accept for your friend getting hurt. did you notice if you fatigued less, more/faster, quicker with this suspension compared to what you had? video  any YFZ riders comment on the new a-arm setup? i've been wanting to hear what they have to say about it. (i dont know any YFZ owners)
  4. good deal! fyi, that place will do damn near any custom wiring you could think of!
  5. http://www.casperselectronics.com/ try them maybe, they do alot of custom stuff at reasonable prices. might even be in their inventory.
  6. good point about the oil. i dont use any tho, just an precharger over a proflow foam setup
  7. which ever type you get, get outerwear or precharger socks for them!
  8. you want them as tight as possible. BigRed just machined some aluminum for me and i cut and sanded them too fit.
  9. i would also like some info about this.
  10. BIG THANKS to BigRed350x. he made me some aluminum spacers for no fee at all! the spacers ended up being, ~.275" wide x ~.610" ID x ~1" OD i'm very pleased how this turned out, now my setup is 100% complete! here are some pics of how it looks...
  11. black, adds a little contrast to the bike. IMO looks good like that.
  12. DDQ, thanks for the pics! Noss tie rod is beefy lol! i flipped my rear wheels around today (so valve stems are inside), to make the rear end wider. maybe something you want to try also. alot cheaper then aftermarket axle. looks like it gained quite a bit, much closer to front end width now! if anyone has a stock banshee around my area (sometimes Springfield, mostly Dekalb), hollar at me for a comparison.
  13. get a lawyer too write up some waivers for whoever uses it! sounds cool tho. it it a curved launcher or just flat?
  14. take the camera(s) i just measured where it will put you on the tie rod ends, 13-3/8" (1" longer then stock YFZ) should be just the right length! you should get about 9-10 complete threads onto the tie rod end.
  15. 43.3" wide. http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products.../2/0/specs.aspx not sure on swinger length
  16. pretty sure it is 43.4" for stock front end width. i remember this because i had too measure to be sure mine would fit into my shed when i bought it. (now it doesnt lol) it rub the wheels when it was stock and my shed door is 43.5" wide. if you really want to know, just google search it. it will come up somewhere. thats what i had to do back then
  17. nice! cant wait too here the report on it after this weekend. what length did you order? before you install them, take a pic of those next to the stockers please.
  18. make like Forrest and run. thats a new one on me tho, usually i only see the ones that say something like... "i will send you a check for ~$20,000, for an item costing ~$10,000. you ship me the item and send me $10,000 back"
  19. i heard some trails in that place can be scary for a 1st timer. like unsuspected drop offs and such of the not so friendly kind... what kind of terrain is there (other then trails)? how big?
  20. Honda style tie rod ends! its a female end with a male tie rod. (opposite of Yamaha) RMATV has them
  21. seriously, if you dont buy that stuff, PM me with the contact info, i will!
  22. thats a great price with shocks! hell, shocks alone usually go for about that $. yes shee tie rod ends will work just fine.
  23. i agree 100%! btw, you get those new tie rods yet? let us know!
  24. if the price is right, go for it. and if its not one of the arms with angle iron welded to it, hope not lol) also, the lower ball joints can be replaced. not the uppers. dlnoss sells tie rods for 39.99 any length (with yfz arms, order some at 13 1/4" - 13 3/8" for a Banshee) stock shocks are way too short for this. unless you are going for that asphalt drag look!
