  1. well where the hell where you when I needed spacers for my conversion? J/k I made some.

What happened to that one guy from the west coast, who made those very nice integrated spacers/bolt sleeves to use with the YFZ arm swap?

Where the hell have you been?

I figured your username had been given up and a newbee registered it.

I been playing with my Buell, Jeep and guns man! haha. I wish i still had the Banshee but i hurt myself on it one too many times! Whats going on with you?

Get yourself a nice set of PTs and beat them with a hammer.

Everyone knows T5's are the best! ;)

Loco, an Admin now? watch the fuk out!

  2. i had one, did some mods to it, ran great, looked good! traded it about this time last year. now i'm "looking" for another. :ninja:

    shees addictive.

only bad thing is i dont have a truck now and would have to get a trailer setup for my Cherokee to haul it around. just a minor inconvenience. upside tho, i am much closer to Silver Lake now  temptations are a bish!!!

  3. i have some chrome adjustable YFZ uppers stock width, one good stock YFZ upper and one good stock YFZ lower (removed from when i wrecked my banshee).

check the for sale forum for a pic if interested, all you would need to find then is one good lower and one good upper if you werent interested in the pair of adjustable uppers.

i never had a problem with my YFZ front setup (until i crashed and burned by my own fault) and i didnt treat it kindly either!

whatever you decide, i would seriously consider some NOSS machine tie rods, they are freaking stout! out of the entire left side suspension that got destroyed, the NOSS tie rod was the only thing salvageable!

  4. something to keep in mind is that '04 YFZ shocks are stiffer then '05+. also, '04 YFZ shocks only have 14 coils compared to '05+ with 15 coil springs. and in my experience, '04 shocks are also a tad/tiny bit shorter then '05+.

maybe whoever has a harsh riding bike has '04 shocks....?

NYUK, there is a 20+ page thread under my name in here on how to do the YFZ front suspension, its just a few pages back.

there is a shit ton of info in that large thread concerning YFZ shocks and arms, as well as spindles/hubs, bad part is its huge and spread out throughout it.

BenBB also has a nice topic in here somewhere concerning the same swap, with some good indepth info.

  5. would like to see this stuff go, so a good offer will be accepted!

  6. hi all, time for me too get back onto an ATV... otherwise this car is just going to turn into a never ending money pit like my last one.

just thought i would throw this out there.

    i have a '99 Camaro Z28.

powered by the revered and mighty all aluminum LS1 V8!

it is an automatic trans, T-Tops, white exterior with 17" black corvette wheels, SS spoiler, and black tail panel.

    grey or charcoal leather interior.

currently it has 82,xxx miles on it.

options are: PM, PW, PS, CC, AC, tilt, Pioneer CD, Eclipse speakers.

it has the basic intake and exhaust mods consisting of Edelbrock Victor race long tube stepped headers (1-3/4" to 1-7/8"), 3" offroad y-pipe into 3" SLP Two Out The Left (2OTL) catback. sounds amazing and is surprisingly quiet at idle!

high flow SLP air lid and K&N filter.

    polyurethane motor mounts.

    MSD plug wires.

    NGK TR55 spark plugs.

    aluminum rearend differential 'girdle/support' cover.

and 3.73 gears inside the rearend.

it has rebuilt title. there is no reflection of this in the way the car drives or handles! come on out and see for yourself!

the car is very quick, has ran a best 1/4mi with a shitty driver (not me) of 12.9 @ 109 with a horrible 2.0 60' time! (alot more in it for sure)

it turns heads with the way it looks, with the black wheels on it!

the car isnt perfect, and i invite any interested party too come on out and check it out in person, even drive it, if we get that far into a deal!

here are some pictures of it when i got it in July of 2007...(looks the exact same now except with black 17 ZR1 wheels)
