ok, i got somekind of FMF pipes, just the expansion chambers. they look like some sort of in frame drag pipes, sort of like CPI pipes. so somebody answer these if you can. 1. tell me about jetting for these pipes. 2. will they fit on my bike with stock silencers? 3. do you have to rejet the carbs if you get a boost bottle?

thats bullshit, if some fuckin pig EVER tries to take my banshee, ima have myself some bacon for dinner. i aint givin up my 'shee. today my cusin and her friend were riding on the praire path (a path that goes through a few towns) and my friends dad (hes a cop) saw them on it, he got out of his car and walked over to them and told them its fine to ride where they are (even though there are signs that say "No motorized vehicles on path") as long as they dont cross roads. hes a nice guy, i know he'd let me off of anything but a lot of the cops around here are DICKS. NOBODY give up your quad to a god damn pig.

my friend just bought one about 2 weeks ago, his does about 85 mph stock. he says its wicked powerful and stuff, he likes it. i didnt want to ride it cuz i couldnt even get over it lol. they are huge.

Does anybody know how much low end you'll lose if you go from stock pipes to rocket pipes?

OK, I have a '90 banshee, pretty much stock. I wanted rockets then I decided I wanted Toomey T-5's. But I do a little bit of everything except ride in the dunes. I do a little MX at local tracks and drag race with my friends, trails, hill climbing and then the open road on the way to my friends houses and stuff. (I like to go fast so I'm thinking rockets.) I definitly don't have the money for any pipes right now but I want to know what all you guys think I should go with. And if you can, answer these questions. 1. Do rockets burn your legs at all & do you have to keep your legs far from the pipes or can you still have them like with stock pipes? 2. How much louder are rockets than stock pipes? 3. How much low end do you lose when you have rockets? Thanks dudes.

I just got my banshee running last sunday. I've rode it a few times and I absolutely love it. It's a '90, starts on first kick, bored .50 over and what not. But I drag race my friends (they have blasters, hehe) some motocross at ATV parks, but mostly trails and just the wide open road. So what do you think would be the best pipe for that.

we pushed started it, i dunno why but it worked. now it starts on first kick, its sort of weird though...

OMG, I GOT IT RUNNING!!!! I RODE IT TOO! I got into 5th gear, I felt like was gonna get pulled right off of it. The first thing I did was took it up the road, then an SUV came and I had to do it...I totally blew that mother away....

It did start when we put gas in the spark plug thing. We took them out, then put gas in then put them back in. It started and ran for like less than 1 second. And we completely cleaned the carbs just like all of you said. We've cleaned them everytime we took them off. (about 5 times)

i think i put this in the wrong forum, sorry about that though, im new, i wasnt paying attention...

Me and my dad have been working on my banshee for about 6 months now. It's got spark and it gets gas into the carbs. But for some reason it isn't getting threw them into the cylinders. We've pulled the carbs off and stuff and set them and all that stuff, but it still doesnt work. We've checked them at least 5 times. The reeds look brand new, the seals are fine, the floats are fine. If you put gas on top where the spark plugs go, it starts up right on first kick. It used to start but then it just stopped out of no where. Anybody know what the problem could be?
