  1. This will come with uni pods and the water bottle relocator bracket. It is in like new condition. I used it once and was just too paranoid about water and mud getting in there where I ride so I went back to the stock airbox. Send me a pm if you are interested. Thanks!

Price is 90 bucks shipped usps priority.

  2. I run R-50 with 91 premium clear. Always try to stay away from the ethenol gas. My carbs stay very clean and I do like the smell. I use my extra gas in my weed whipper and I use it in my ice auger also. Nothing like ice fishing, running the auger and it smells like my banshee exhaust. Love that.

  3. A Buddy of mine just picked up this '78 F250 4x4 4sp. It is leaking gear oil from the front differential out of the vent hose. We havn't determined if it's just a bad seal where the tube goes on the pumpkin or if it is actually being pushed out the hose from pressure because it leaks from both ends. What's the purpose of having a vent hose there in the first place? If anyone has any knowledge of this and can throw in some input that would be awesome.

Another issue it has is that it will sometimes pop right out of third gear while driving. We are wondering what the hell can be done to fix that also.

  4. Well, after the news of a decent tax return coming my way, I am thinking of getting some porting done. My banshee is now 5 yrs old. However, I wouldn't consider it to have alot of hours on it. I have to trailer to ride and I maybe get out a dozen times riding a year I would guess on average if that. My compression is still very solid on both cylinders. The thought of puttng in a new top end might stop me from the idea because of the extra cost. I guess my question would be is it worth getting porting without doing a new topend at this point? Also, I am not about to split my cases to get the crank welded. I don't have the experience to go that far yet. Give me some thoughts.

  5. I have been wanting to do this for a while now. I was looking through my clymers last night and it appears that the clutch needs to come out? I haven't even had the clutch cover off on my banshee yet since iv'e had it (bought it new) so I don't want to dive into all that if that's the case. Can someone please give me a quick process on that mod.?

  6. I just got back from watching some of these. What a blast. I thought it was only supposed to be sleds but people were running atv's and there was even a razr that ran it. There was one banshee there that ran around 71 72 mph with carbides. I'm just wondering if anyone has done this and what kind of speeds you ran. I think there might be another one coming up and I can't wait to give it a try.

  7. If you research this you will find that most guys will recommend about a 50 pilot and maybe a 160 main or so. I just installed some 28's and ended up with 180 mains. It's just a hair rich and my pugs are a light chocolate color. Perfect for me. If I were you I would start with 50 pilots, 170-175 mains, drop the clip on the needles 2 notches from the bottom, air screws 1 1/2 turns out and go from there.

  8. Hey, what kind of jetting are you running? I used to run Keihin 28s, but I had a tought time getting them dialed in. I ran a 48 pilot and 140 main on a stock cylinder, with pipes and full air box, but that was the closest I could get it. They are a great design carb, I just could never find jetting specs for them.

At 15 degrees and about 800-900ft I was at 55 pilot, 180 main, and needle is at the 2nd clip from the bottom. It is a hair rich but runs great. I will adjust a little im sure once I get it out and give it a good run. I'm running at 40/1 also. I think a 50 pilot, 175 main will be perfect for me this time of year. I have an open aluminum airbox with twin uni filters.
