stock bore.start 40 pilot.idle speed screw start at round 4 turns out with the spring.air fuel screw at 1.5

go 40 pilot air fual scwer 1.5 out. idle speed screw 2.5 or three turns in from slide all the way down. back idle speed screw all the way out. keep your finger on the slide .then turn it in slow untill you feel the slide start to move them go in like 3 turns that's a good starting point .a lot of guys take the spring off the idle scwer to lean out a fat pilot.that how I got my bike so cheap.had a 55 idle speed screw all the way in. to lift the slide to let in more air.so I bot a five dollar scwer and put it on with the spring.would not run till I put a 45 in air screw was to 2.5 or 3 out.40 was better .

start 42 pilot might have to go up or down depending on mods.start 195 main do leak down test.dek needle middle start plug chopping

I had same problem.rich on pilot.I got a banshee and it had the spring off on my 2:1 35mm air striker.put the spring back on .and keep your finger on the slide .slowly screw the idle speed scwer in. Once you feel the slide start to move. turn it in only three turns.put a 42 in and see what happens.with some dry plugs

im read to go stock for sure.I got it for good price.knowing it needed work.it smoked like a diesel . thinking it could be the ultimate Trail banshee of my dreams and it turned in to a nightmare.thanks again

what's up.new to banshee hq. got a 2001 banshee.with 2into 1 intake has 33mm keihin. it came with 50 pilot dek needle 180 main cool head 21c v force 4 t5 knn pod with outer 64.5 pistons. stage two trail port McDermick racing.from what I was told. eastern Iowa 600 to 800 above sea it ran rich.started coming down in jetts. does any have this set up .I'm at now a 35 pilot 155 main cgl needle middle.and it's still running like shit.please please help
