  1. Toying with the idea of selling my '05 Shee. Only around 25 hrs. on it in mint condition. Here's what's on it. -Red & White model -Pro Circuit platinums w/ 304 silencers -K&N w/ pro flow -Pro Circuit graphics -DG alloy nerfs -Tag metals bumper and bars -Alba grille -Cascade bloodshot headlight covers -Billet clutch cover insert -LSR parking brake blockoff Looking for $4,500 obo located in Upstate NY.
  2. For a comparison, I run PC's and my brother has Fatty's and Vito's power pistons. On blacktop, he pulls me for the first few feet, after that, it's over. The PC's make a lot better power from mid to top. Once I start pulling, I go by fast and keep pulling away. His fatty's will only pull 260 mains and it's spot on, where my PC's are at 280's right now and are a touch lean, but not too bad. I'm gonna have to go to 290's or 300's....that should give you a good comparison of top end performance between these pipes. Installation is no problem whatsoever, and read the jetting posts that are pinned and it will answer a lot of your questions.
  3. Mine will stand up from 1st through 4th with the shitty stock rears and stock gearing. My buddy and I looked at one last summer that had a 13 tooth on it and it didn't wheelie. We thought the clutch was slipping test driving it on blacktop. I noticed while he was riding that it was actually smoking the tires every time he shifted with 18 in. Razrs.
  4. Want it to scream? Hold it WFO and grab gears Seriously, get it ported. If you're looking for bolt on stuff, get a head, adj. timing plate, lighten the flywheel, and some reeds.
  5. I'm in upstate NY. About an hour &1/2 north of Watertown. I'm kinda leery myself without seeing any numbers. My younger brother deals with them on his Cats. Thing is, he's got a '06 F7 snopro with their PAC system, y pipe, and clutching and I can wax him with my '04MXZ800H.O. which is stock, motor wise. The F7's are supposed to be giant killers and with the few mods he has he should walk me if these mods deliver the promise. My sled kills his everywhere though which leaves me sceptical. I guess I was just hoping they did better on Shees.
  6. The Ford is the right choice. My daily driver is a '00 F-150 4x4 supercab. I have 133,000 hard miles on it and it still looks and runs like new. I use it in the woods for hauling and hunting, and it's gone places trucks just shouldn't go. 10-20,000 mile oil changes are the norm for it, with non-synthetic and the oil still comes out clean. Still has the original battery and spins over at the -30 and -40F we get here. These Triton motors are rediculously reliable and Ford's chassis are built sturdier than the competition. As for the quad, if I was shopping for a new sport machine right now, I'd be looking at the new LTR450 from Suzuki. It's ready to hit the track out of the box. DirtWheels interviewed Jeremiah Jones about it and he says it's already better than the Z450's he and Gust raced last year. That's a pretty strong statement about just how good it is. Yamaha and Honda will no doubt have to update to stay in the game, cause the modded z400's were already there with them.
  7. As the topic says, wondering if any of you guys are running D&D power. They have a legendary reputation with Cats and they're close to me so I'm thinking of having them port my shee. If anyone is running their motor work I'd love to hear some feedback.

    yfz 450

I went with HMF on mine running a 170 main,48 pilot, needle stock and it was night and day from a stocker. Power was strong everywhere. The HMF is ear shattering though. Buddy just got a Sparks system and loves it, but it's loud as hell too.
  9. He'll probably hang onto it for a while unless he's looking to take a loss. Bought mine new for $5,400+tax. These things take a huge hit in value when they go out the door. Good luck though and TTT for ya.
  10. I'll let it go for $4,800. It's got a couple more hours on it, but I ride it maybe 15 min. twice a week around the yard just to give an idea. The "yard" is 180 acres though. Just have no interest in it anymore. Keep staring at the REV waiting for snow. And yes I figured out the pipes work in under 4 hrs. I got lucky and hit the jetting right on for my application. Even after WOT runs, the plugs are perfect. After selling my YFZ, I brought the Shee home and took it for a spin......first thought that came to mind was, what a POS!!!! Ordered the pipes, and the power became compareable to the 450's.....exactly what I was looking for when I bought it.
  11. LOL.......Hate to even take it out and get it dirty. I spend more time cleaning it than riding it. It SERIOUSLY has under 4 hours.
  12. Really hate to part with it, but I want to buy a Grizzly. It's an '05 Red & White with Pro Circuit platinums and 304's, a K & N w/ pro flow, TAG X5 bars, TAG metals front bumper, DG alloy nerfs(red nets),ALBA stainless grill, billet clutch cover insert,Cascade headlight covers, shock covers, and a LSR parking brake blockoff. Wheeler only has 3-4 hours on it and is like it came from the crate. Looking for $5,200 and I'm in upstate N.Y. call 315-769-4489
