Paddleboy Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 when i rip in my yard and shift from 2nd to 3rd sometimes it hits like a nutral inbetween the gears and then when i let off it shifts into 2nd without me hitting the shifter.. not everytime but once in awhile. do you think its because i need to adjust me shifter lever down more or is it a gear issue. it only happends between 2nd and 3rd. i'm still new to banshee's but i hear 2nd is the first gear to mess up in the trans... bansheejoel Posted August 10, 2008 Report Posted August 10, 2008 shit, i guess you will have to buy a new clutch, basket, inner and outer clutch hub,a new elliptical screw and about 6 damn gaskets to get yours to shit right like i had to do.....nothing like having a shee shift like shit when its under load...take it to the dunes i bet it will shit alot worse. atleast mine did Quote
Onesickcrewcab Posted August 12, 2008 Report Posted August 12, 2008 Mine was doing that. I moved the shift lever down a notch and it didnt happen anymore. Almost like I wasn't pulling up on it hard enough to get it all the way into gear. Don't know if this will help you, but give it a try. Quote
