Stock or Trail Tech?

Which do you guys prefer? Any advantages of trail tech? Who has them?

I like the trail techs, they look better, are brighter, and easier to change bulbs in.

I just run stock 06 lights with PIAA H6M Bulbs. They work pretty well. I also have a 200 watt stator and have my lights hooked up to 2 toggle switches. I can turn both High and Low beam on at the same time. I use to have 4 trail tech lights. 2 stock location, and 2 on the handle bars. I just got tired of the sand getting behind the glass covers.

 

I did find some good replacement bulbs. I think Snoop might have turn me twards them

 

Sylvania Tru AIM IR bulbs. Man those were biright.

I run the Trail Tech, they were on the bike when i bought it. I like them, they look alot better IMHO. My buddy is a dealer for TrailTech so i am thinking about upgrading to the Eclipse HIDs in the future.

Are you gonna run the capacitor or put in a battery for the hids?

If you want really bright lights go with the Hella/Piaa ones and big stator/flywheel. I run 55 watters in mine.

 

They look like shit, but they are bright as hell.

Had mine on up the mountains a couple weeks ago (trail techs) look awesome and more then bright enough.

has anyone ever try to run both bar mount and stock mount trailtech lights at the same time?
