mazuullaa Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 Yamaha calls them wheel rings. I think they dont need to be on my banshee for sand use. Do you have to do anything other than unbolt them and throw them to the trash? Or is there a seal on the back? I just want to get an idea of the trouble I want to get in. Quote
trav-99 Posted June 5, 2008 Report Posted June 5, 2008 unbolt and trash them. you'll need to pull off the hubs & calipers to do so. for sand you won't need them. in woods though, they will keep sticks from jamming in there. sometimes on my cannondale i'll get sticks jammed in and have to stop, pull them out and keep on go'in.
