jesse1004 Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 its a piece of cake. get a new clutch a gasket and some new fluid. pull off your cover, take out six bolts, put in new clutch, put back in six bolts, and throw your cover on. oh and some more antifreeze. Quote
KaosBanshee44 Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 Be carefull putting the bolts back in on the inner clutch basket they break real easy! Quote
_Hex* Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 new streetbike clutch, oil and a penny haha the penny is so you can tighten the bolts evenly without it moving put it in between the basket gear and the crank gear. tighten bolts not too much but jsut where the gears start to squeeze the penny you will know when to stop. Leadfoot350 Posted May 19, 2008 Report Posted May 19, 2008 the penny has to be made before 1973 so its pure copper. Any later and its too hard Quote
