awaitedshee Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 help is....practice makes perfect lol and trying to work the rear brake... not slammin on it but feathering it. it takes alot of time and finess Quote
Wheelie Ripper Posted August 15, 2008 Report Posted August 15, 2008 the rear brake is your friend, learn to cover it and to use it. Quote
POORBOY350 Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 I just do it ya know you gotta just get the feel for it and get that perfect balance down in the right spot. but mainly practice so you'll get the feel for it. the power band is tricky tho on wheelies. good luck just get it up and go far enough back where you have to use the back brake then try to keep it in that right spot. and just use the gas and brake to keep it in that perfect lil spot the best you can. its really just a feel thing. well i tried to help lol. dont kill ur self wear protection  Quote
BlntdEyez Posted September 21, 2008 Report Posted September 21, 2008 dont kill ur self wear protection  Lol, Thats what shee said. Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted September 22, 2008 Report Posted September 22, 2008 Due to the fact that Banshee's aren't known for their bottom end, it's kinda hard to do "slow" wheelies unless you build a torquey motor. Quote
POORBOY350 Posted September 23, 2008 Report Posted September 23, 2008 it just so much more exciting without tho. lol. jk dont try this at home! Quote
SCEADU Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Does a Banshee do anything slow? Maybe rust but thats about it Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 Does a Banshee do anything slow? Maybe rust but thats about it Haha. Slow wheelies? Buy a 4 poke. 6th gear wheelies @ 65mph+ ? Banshee time. Quote
MikeNick Posted September 24, 2008 Report Posted September 24, 2008 I've flipped mine on its back 3 times ridin wheelies...Power band kick in and Im not used to a 2 stroke so whooppppp there she goes back on the grab bar...lol....Already ruined 2 grab bars an my stock rear plastic so I finally said no more..I try to keep it on 4 wheels for the time being..haha :ermm: Quote
ASRBanshee Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Put it in first go a little bit and then punch it and the front should come up. If not, thats why you can use your back up which is using the clutch to get it up which I dont recommend. Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted September 25, 2008 Report Posted September 25, 2008 Dumping the clutch in 2nd, while sitting, (off a roll) I found it easy to ride sitting wheelies. Standing and dumping it in 2nd (off a roll), it stood up fast, but didn't ride it long. 3rd gear, off of a decent roll, dumping the clutch, it rode the best standing wheelies. That was when I was stock though. I haven't had any seat time on my newly modded bike. Quote
Michael Jackson Posted September 26, 2008 Report Posted September 26, 2008 how the hell is someone gona teach you how to do wheelies on the internet? Quote
NickyPap Posted October 19, 2008 Report Posted October 19, 2008 Practice on a grass or hard packed hill(going up!!!!!!!) I dump the clutch get it way back like a rockin chair then she rolls then you need to work the clutch and back brake on to keep going flat ground -put a lid on so you dont blow out the back of your head the first time Quote
