SQUIRREL MASTER Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 my rear brakes lock up on me everytime that i ride over 30 minutes or when bike is a little hot. i put a new steel braided brake line and bought a repair kit and installed it. bike still locks up and the brakes release after 10-20 minutes. does anyone know what happening? or what can i do to fix this problem? hollisatp Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 I would check to see if the line is clogged somewhere ? When you start out riding does it work properly for a bit then locks up? Quote
dajogejr Posted April 21, 2008 Report Posted April 21, 2008 Get another caliper used, when the pads come off, are they worn even or at an angle? Something could be bent back there making the pads rub more than they should... Quote
