RollinRhino Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 Did a search on the forums for an answer to this question, but I saw this morning a Banshee running a 2 into 1 exhaust system and it didn't sound half bad but what is the advantage to running one of these besides less weight? Quote
RZBansheeMan Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 None, it's super GAY to choke up these wonderous engines with any 2:1 bullshit ! Quote
LiftdT4R Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 They lower the rpms at which the power band hits. So basically more low end power, but it also cuts the top and mid range power. I'm not a big fan of any of the 2 into 1 stuff, and I do all trail riding. Quote
Snopczynski Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 It does not increase low end power. It maintains peak rpm and power easier for racing mx and staying on the pipe. Technically its a mid-top pipe that peaks at 9k rpm according to all the dyno testing I have done. Quote
PhilMoore Posted April 13, 2008 Report Posted April 13, 2008 I have a Dynoport 2into1. I was riding around my track, and my neighbor came over on his YFZ450R (Stock) He made a comment. This pretty much sums it up... "I heard a lot of noise over here, but not much movement..." With a 2into1 on, I get beat by a stock 400EX. I wasted $550 on this pipe. Don't make the same mistake! :geek: Hope this helps. Quote
