my 2001 banshee is over heating?? and i dont know why. It has a new top end. stock reeds, stock head, 65 mm bore with pro lite pistons, and a play port job done. with a 35mm 2 in to 1 carb set up. after it warms up and I ride it a little it will just start running out of the over flow hose. and i can not get it to stop. I live in dumas, tx it is about 45 miles north of amarillo, tx. 3,657 above sea level to give you a idea of the weather i run in. any one know anything?? thanks

well the first thing you need to do is a leak down test..especially since it was just rebuilt...it could be a bad o-ring in your head also...

Whats your jetting? Easy way to check for air leaks is start it and with the engine at idle spray carb cleaner around all your gasket surfaces. If it bogs when you spray anywhere, check that gasket...

check your jetting and check for air leaks, then I would do the leakdown test.
