Skip2 MyLou Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 Whats Up Guys, I'm looking for a set of pipes that aren't outrageously priced, yet perform pretty damn decent. It's not that im cheap...I'm just poor . I was wondering if you guys could give me any suggestions. I heard FMF makes some good 2 stroke pipes, but when i checked prices, i almost devised a plan to shoot their CEO Give me some suggestions guys. Also any sites that have good prices would be appreciated too. Quote
jesse1004 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 I paid 120 for a nice set of used fmf fattys, the finish wasnt the best but they were dent free. For the riding I do(trail and track) they work great. When I got a little more $ I had a buddy powder coat them with some high temp pc in black. Quote
4stroker Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 you guys are so lucky in the US, here in aus we get screwed on everything, $1200 is what a set of FMFs retail for! and our dollar is worth 90 us cents at the moment! Quote
badassbanshee479 Posted February 14, 2008 Report Posted February 14, 2008 watch the for sale section on this site, and check out ebay. you can get used pipes pretty cheap. just gotta wait for the right deal thats all. I have fmf's on my play bike and they work good. I really want a set of t-5's though. One of the best all around pipes out there and they work great on ported motors. Quote

Hell yeah, I used tor un Fatties, and then SSTs, great pipes, I let both sets go for $100 a piece. If your were going to buy new pipes, you could do better, but if your looking to buy used, those are going to be the best bang for the book. Even used Toomeys go for grip. Quote
