does any one run up in oregon? what are the laws about sound levels?

i have t-5s with no air box. dont want to get all the way up there & find out im too loud.

Don't quote me on this, but I believe its 98db. I know most T5 owners have to run a hush-kit. You can pick one up from rockymountainatv.com in the exhaust section. I know spark arrestors are also required.

i live in florence and the level is 93 db but from what i have senn when they are doing sound checks they mostly go after the thumpers. i have rode there all my life and never been checked on my shee.

well thanks for the info but that sucks my yfz450 when it was stock was louder than 93dbs

well that blows i might not go to oregon then 10hr drive from sacramento to find out im getting a ticket wont go over well with the wife

I've been there a hand full of times with out issue, and I was a lot louder then 93dB.

Don't worry about it. Depends on where you go in Oregon but there is usually no hassle. At florence they just come out to the hill for a little bit then leave. Winchester they never leave the third parking lot and sandlake....... well I don't know why you would drive from Sac-town to ride SL. I never ride Coos Bay but I think the cops just patrol boxcar and the flats. Just ride in the opposite direction if you see cops or if they show up tell them your bike broke and your wating for a tow.
