Ive owned 1 previos banshee....but did the basic mods.....I recently Got another one and i want to make this my dune Bike! My friend told me to save my money up to bore it...What exactly does that mean...still a nub.. What do u recommend me to get?

boring is just cutting the sleeve larger to put in a bigger piston.boring is not going to give you that much more power at all,you just do that to freshing up the cylinder. if you want to make a nice dune bike get you a set of pipes which i would say shearer small bore in frames(if you already don't have aftermarket pipes)and a nice aggressive dune port job.kevin from herrjugsracing does my port work on my 4mill drag banshee and also a buddy got his aggressive dune port done buy him and his runs great.there are many builders out there just shop around and call them and get prices.

I didnt even see this post when I replied to the last one. Check around for prices. Herr Jugs does a good job, flotek does good work.There is a bunch of builders. Just find the one you like most. Porting is where they shave the ports on the cylinders to allow a bigger mix of gas to come in at once. Vforce reeds are pointless to me without porting. Boost bottle doesnt do anything, and what do you mean tors kit?

i think a good aggresive dune port will cost you around 300-350 and thats if you are interested in getting the pistons cut as well.save your money on the vf3's and just have your stock reed cages ported unless you have the money for the vf3's.as for the cool head i would just get your stock head cc to get the compression you want.which i believe that is around $110.just check around.don't be afraid to call around and ask some builders.i know kevin can port cylinders to whatever pipes you have,which any good builder can.

Kevin is awesome, he built my motor. I got a trail/woods port with a cool head. Kevin is great to work with, his customer loyalty is the greatest. You will not be disappointed going with Kevin.
