riderofthestorm Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 this is exactly what i wasn't lookin for after a complete top and bottom rebuild, this is the left side, right side is great!! possibly a crank seal? it was about 20 degree's F pretty sad given the fact there's only about 5 hours on it, surprisingly the cylinder still looks good,, not so good for the new crank tho it won't let me load any pics! wtf? well what would make the rod peel off the crank? lol Quote

blowit Posted December 4, 2007 Report Posted December 4, 2007 sho looks like cold or hot seizure from here. I can faintly see the signs on the piston. One sided at that. I would want to check piston clearance on that one. The extra stick can cause you to rip the end out of the rod but that is not common. Brandon Quote

Brandon i was thinkin when the rod started to go, all the shavings went up in there and caused all the scratches, then when the rod finally popped it didn't do it any justice, all i know is um gonna redo it one more time and if i have more problems you guys will have some parts up for grabs! lol too much of a moneypit for me, but i do luv the power! when um not working on it lol Quote
