If you have an o-ringed chain, you may need to preload them a bit to assemble the master link. If you have a DID chain, I have found many of their master link clips to be out of tolerance, which makes it a bitch to assemble....................I remember this right about the time I shoot the clip across my garage or stab myself with pliers. :biggrin: Quote

Is it a new masterlink or the one that came off of it, May have gotten an non oring masterlink. Quote
