Looking to get a set of knarly's for the bike and not sure on size and which ones to go with. Seeing that I ride a lot of trails I'm not sure if the Knarly HT or ST suit me better? Will be mounted to a 9" rim but how tall of a tire?

The front is a different story.. I have the yfz front end (shocks and a-arms) and we all know it lowers the front a bit. To gain a little height without the bike looking retarded what size front tire should I run? 21", 22" or 23"?

thanks

I went 21" in the front & 20" in the rear, I really should have gone 22" in the front. I went with Knarley HT in the rear Klaw XCF in the front. I ride in New England trails, dirt mix with some sand pit riding. I just got the bike & installed the tires but I am pleased with them.

Yeah I been thinking I should go with the 20" rears and 22" fronts just because of my front end. Fishwater can you post a side pic of your bike for reference? Thanks for your input!

I would love to post a pic but right now it is on jackstands while I install extended A-arms. It sits level, much better than my friends Quadracer with 18's in the back & 21's in the front. I also had a problem posting a pic up here before but I will work on that.

Get donuts like me 18s in the back 20s in the front  Actually unless your riding on a track or somewhere that doesnt require ground clearance its on. When i trail ride i got a set of 20s for the back and 21s for the front. I think 22 and 23s are just to damn big.

I'm just thinking I may need 22" in the front to get my height back up from the 450 a-arms. Would really like to see some pics of 21vs22" mounted on a banshee and even better with the yfz a-arms.

do you run rocky conditions at all? I run 23's in the front and 21's and 22's in the back (realtors are the 22's when I need them)

I get great ground clearance with them and running anything smaller than a 23 in the front makes me sit up on my tank with the 22's. If you have to go over anything on the trails, 23's are nice to have. Here's 2 pics you can get a feel. With the 23's up front and the 21's in the back:

notice the ground clearance:

by the way, bike is incredibly stable, with widened front, and stock axle, doesnt feel like its tall at all
