Banshee Chad Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 ok, I searched but couldnt find anything... so my brand new 06 shee with 3 rides on it boggs down when ive been into the throttle for a bit. I asked around and the answer i got the most seems to be that i need to adjust the carb float levels. im a little nervous to take the carbs apart, i know they are synchronized and dont want to screw shit up. is there anything i really need to be aware of before starting to disassemble the carbs and check the float levels? does anyone have any pics of the process of taking them apart or once apart, etc etc..??? Also, i am curious, does anyone think it might be the jetting instead? i was thinking that if they were too big itd suck all the gas out too fast, and thus emptying the floats before they have time to refill? Im in utah and am not sure what the jetting should be, does anyone know what the jetting should be on a completely stock shee? i would think the dealership should have adjusted the float levels and the jetting correctly before selling it to me, wouldnt they? Thanks for all help, everyone is great! Quote

moneybags Posted October 4, 2007 Report Posted October 4, 2007 Whats your evevation where you ride at. The jetting for a stock Banshee should be 200 main jet and a 25 poilet jet. If your riding above 1000 foot elevation. You will probly need to move down on the main jet depending what your elevation is. Elevation plays a big role in a 2 stroke motor. Quote
