No main jet, just a mikuni pilot jet which is the power jet on a lectron. Getting the neele taper figured out and then adjusting it to perfect is a pain. I know a guy thats real good with them, I even got a set after he talked me into it too. That was a pain in the ass, glad I dont have those anymore. Dyno Dave is good with them, but he has every lectron needle known top man. So he can dick with his for a few hours when he switches to ethanol and get the tecate running good.

Well...I'm getting a set of 41's setup by packard for alky and a fuel pump in the next few days.

I've got a ton of runs at the strip with the setup I have now, and I'm going to be hitting the track and dyno within the next couple of weeks.

I'll have to let you all know how they work out compared to my dual 39PWK setup on my 10 mil....

If I'm not mistaken...Packard CNC machines his own metering rods to his specs.

thanks for all the responses i think i might ttry a set, now another question what size i ow have 33 pwks but i am building my 4 mil 421 will 40's work i thimk my buddy has a spare also do hey make a thumb throttle cable for them

I'm pretty sure they take a different cable.

I'm going to pick one up from Packard Directly...it's 45.00...they make it them selves, each piece is replacable, teflon lines, etc...

I can tell you JT's 4 mil handles 39PWKs no problem, 40MM lectrons shouldn't be an issue...

Lectrons are very nice carbs, very responsive and work well for the right application. They are very easy to tune, IF you know how to tune them but they are very different from other carbs. Main issue with them that I don't like is the touchiness. They are an on/off, nothing to WOT carb. This makes them very nice for draggers but can be frustrating or harder to ride in other applications.

I ate all my crayons and some mean kid took my coloring book. However, I did get the waitress at IHOP to give me a stroller for my one of my engineers that has been whining alot lately.
