If they do not help you go to your bank and fill out the paperwork there and you should have it back within 24 hours. I had similar thing happen twice and one time paypal refunded my money within 10 days and the other time I had to go to my bank and fill out a form and I had the money back in my account next day. Paypal will only refund your money if he has money in his account. I'm sure the scamming dickbag emptied the account. They will...however freeze the account. Hopefully they used a bank money order so the bank can help. TLONG Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Yep..positive. Paypal can take money from a dispute out of your paypal account. It can NOT take money from your bank account....and some people tie their paypal to a credit card as well.. You can pay fees, add funds to deposit funds to your bank account from paypal with your OWN authorization....but paypal can not take money from your bank account without your approval. Your account can get locked, it can even get negative....( I did it once by accident when paying for gas with my paypal debit card...) but I had to authorize them to add funds to bring it to 0. there are a few guys having the same problem with this same dude on atvriders.com good luck Quote
