jedsled Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 has anyone used the bedliner that you get in spray cans at automotive stores for frames/ a arms/ swingarms? how does it hold up? you would think that it'd be tons more durable than paint... thinkin of doing my frame and a arms w/ it. Snopczynski Posted September 16, 2007 Report Posted September 16, 2007 I have painted pvc and a rhino rollbar with it. If you do good prep work it should hold up real well. It's nice cause you can touch up anything that gets scratched. I was thinking of doing my next bike with it, and even using it on the plastics. Quote

The stuff I have sceen in cans is not quite as ruff as regular bed liner, it might work well for you. My Friend did a Sub box in it and it looked pretty good. Just be sure you mix it up super well first! Quote
HKIC Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 Yea, i havent seen any quads with the bed liner, would anyone mind posting a pic? Quote
Snopczynski Posted September 21, 2007 Report Posted September 21, 2007 I would say it you did it super chunky it would be harder to clean. However since it is textured and black it will hide alot more dirt. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 I clearly remmeber it.. Didn't dig the finish on fullbores but liked it on the frame. I found it but the pics were removed.. Might want to email him. He sold the Banshee, not sure he get's on here anymore. Check the Sale or Banshee Pics threads for pics. http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...amp;hl=bedliner Quote
jedsled Posted October 14, 2007 Author Report Posted October 14, 2007 i did my frame swingarm and a arms and it turned out reall well. i'm glad i did it! Quote
Duneman101 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 i just did my frame and Aarms with the bedliner... it looks real good so far, i have a pic of it in my avatar... i did 4 coats and it is tough shit... just takes for ever to full cure and harden... i painted the frame and started let it dry for an hour or two then i started fiddling with it because it was dry but had a rubbery feel to it and the stuff pretty much scraped off with my finger nail... so i touched it up and was pissed and left the whole thing alone for a couple days and it is hard as nails now.... i started scraping and it takes a pretty good scrape to take it off.... click here Quote
