Well get it replaced as soon as you can but a wire will hold it on for the meantime, how did it fall off? Or did you take it off and forget to put it back on? Very unlikely that it fell off unless it breaks which is also unlikely...

when i took it off to pu new pipes on i noticed the tip was bent so i tried to bend it back. i have a feeling the metal just got to weak from bending it back again and it just didnt want to hold right.

Go to homedepot or lowes and find a spring that will work for a ride. Then get a good replacement.

yea any hardware store will have something, if you have an ace hardware, they should have a very large variety.

I've had numerous pipe springs break in the last 11 years, stock springs, and aftermarket springs. I lost one in April, at the dunes.

you could use any kind of spring for now. but i'd hit up your local dealer or rocky mtn or something and get some replacements. they are only a few bucks a piece.
