Just kinda curious on everyones opinion on how to cut the rear fenders. Do you use a box cutter, just plain razor blade, pocket knife, saw zall, jig saw, etc... Looking for the cleanest, smoothest cut on the rear. Im simply cuttin straight up the main fender curve on each side. Also is it safe to take an air sander and just slightly hit the edge to smooth it up? Thankx Justin

I cut mine with a mini saw I got when I was about 4-5 years old lol then I sanded the edges down and it looks like if I took it to a professional or something.Of course I wasnt so sobber tho but it came out nice

Here is what I do... (I always find that pics help)

Measure and tape

Draw Lines

Cut with dremel tool with cutting wheel

Sand and torch the edges....

Hey man I really appreciate the tips, the fenders turned out excellent, im very pleased with the outcome. It didnt take no time to measure tape mark and cut. You just forgot to tell me one thing. wear long sleeves lol, those "plastic crumbs" can get real hot real fast. Thanks for the tips fellas. Justin

Here they are after some paint... I ran them on my cub for a weekend, then stretched the frame... Now they are on my wifes bike.

A utility knife? I would never have believed that would work, i'm sure you had to put some muscle into it. I used a drimel and sanded it down when i shaved mine. Then airhose the bike when i was done.
