casper Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Working on installing my +2 a arms and the top arm on the left side does not like me, the bolt will turn but no matter what I do it will not come out. I put some WD-40 and stuff on over night but no luck. Thanks, Quote
moneybags Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 Hit the end of the bult with a hammer to get it moving. Then work from their. Quote
casper Posted June 3, 2007 Author Report Posted June 3, 2007 Did that and with a center punch too and still won't move. There is only about 4 inches of space since its next to the exhaust pipes making it had to get a good hit. What could be holding it up? Quote
moneybags Posted June 3, 2007 Report Posted June 3, 2007 I would say to take the exhaust pipe off and see if you can get a better swing at it. If that does not help Have a friend help you. Try to hit the bult with the hammer and turn the bult at the same time with a wrench. Can you get any space betwen the frame mount and the bult head? I would take the pipe off just to be on the safe side. A dent in the pipe will ruin the thrill of new a-arms. :: Quote
casper Posted June 3, 2007 Author Report Posted June 3, 2007 Thanks guys! I pulled the pile off and had to hit it half way through before it came off while wife helped pull on the other end. Quote
