The rear chain slide the one thats connected to the swingarm, I know the purpose behind it but is there anyone that runs a +6 swingarm without this on. The reason I ask is because I've tried a few different sliders and they seem to have a bad angle when the chain slides threw. And was wondering if I could get away with running it on the dunes without it?

yes you CAN run without it... BUT i wouldn't run without it because it is just going to eat up your swingarm and your chain. so just find a chain slider you can live with and use it.

Time to modify :thanks:

I have a tm designworks rear guide. It has two rollers in the bottom instead of the hard plastic. really nice setup but it is kind of expensive.

thx JB

I would run one of those too but my kit came with the cheaper one :P

As for the slider on the swingarm, the chain will run a slight grove in it when it is new, but it should not be angled so bad that it will eat all teh way through it.
