Bairdy13 Posted April 17, 2007 Report Posted April 17, 2007 Hi guys, I have been unable to find a compression tester locally that sits at the same height as the spark plug. I realise that this will effect how your compression reads. Is there anyone out there that would be able to tell me how much difference there would be? The tester is about .42 long where as the plug is about .66. Any help would be great. Bairdy Quote

Bairdy yes ive heard that there is a difference but ive not tried both short and long reach adaptors,if u cant find a long reach adaptor just cut an old plug up and weld it to your existing one,try a reading with the short one and then with adapted one,i would be interested to know too on how much difference there is.dont forget do comp test on cold motor with WOT.seeya Quote
