RNBRAD Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Has anyone seen or have painted gear cases??? Are they powder coated or sprayed? Powder. Though I'm sure plenty have sprayed them. Quote
Duner440 Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 I dont think I have any pics of my cases but they were powder coated. Looked really nice. Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 6, 2007 Report Posted April 6, 2007 Look at dajogejr's bike. His cases are pc'd like a candy apple red. Go with PC over spraying them, no that expensive. Quote
dajogejr Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 PC'd chrome base, then translucent red. It cost me 350 for the frame, cases, hubs and front spindles. I've seen engine PC for as little as 150ish, to as high as 400. I'd bet if you tape off the bearing races, holes, etc., it'd be cheaper. Most of the cost of PC'ing cases is because of the tedious time it takes to tape stuff off... Here's how mine came out: http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?...c=73990&hl= Quote
ClimbAnyHill Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 Kaotik1 on here does PC, shoot him a PM for a price. Maybe look up some local LA areas as well & ask for quotes. Quote
hollisatp Posted April 8, 2007 Author Report Posted April 8, 2007 Will do... Just curious for a round about price,... Make sure Im not getting taken for a ride.. Quote
