Bansh-eman Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 are you sure you got a really good seal when you put it on? Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 Ok my gague numbers are a little screwy I actually had 11psi and after 6 min was at 10.5 and after 12 min it was at 10psi Quote
2004LEBanshee Posted March 13, 2007 Author Report Posted March 13, 2007 are you sure you got a really good seal when you put it on? no. I pushed as hard as I could and pushed with a screw driver on exhaust ports and put electrical tape tightly around every contact point that slowed down the loss of the original tests. Quote
Bansh-eman Posted March 13, 2007 Report Posted March 13, 2007 i cant be certain but it sounds like your losing pressure around your tester. are you using just flat metal with wing nuts to block your exhaust side? if so it might be a little mroe of a pain in the ass but ge some yamabond or silicon and make a gasket with it and that will insure your exhaust side has a very tight seal...
