Skithis Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 I want to ride and the dealership sais it will be 7 days. Is it really going to hurt anything. Ive thought about it and i dont think it will hurt anything seeing as how the height of the main really doesnt matter. Quote

FireHead Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 Yes you need it. Otherwise you have just elimated about 1/8" of fuel that you can draw out of the float bowl. Which may allow you to run out of gas in the bowls and go lean under hard acceleration. Quote
Skithis Posted February 13, 2007 Author Report Posted February 13, 2007 Cool!, I found it on the garage floor 2 days later! Quote
J-Madd Posted February 19, 2007 Report Posted February 19, 2007 Cool!, I found it on the garage floor 2 days later! Glad you found it. But to answer the question, yes you have to have the washer. When you tighten the main, it actually holds the needle jet in the carb body. Otherwise, it could move up the needle. Quote
