Bansh-eman Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 pulled this from the jetting forum.... under CPI Thats a top end pipe with a bottom end carb setup. Typically you wont have enough exhaust gas to use the pipes to its potential, because you would be bottle necking the intake because of the very small carb inlet size. Banshees dont really have a way of making the best of both worlds with a bunch of bottom end parts, and some top end parts together. You gotta more look at what you want, say maybe really good midrange for your setup, and gear all your components towards that. humm thats funny in that post about the CPI pipes you are on the same page as us but now your out in left field ... which is it? Snopczynski Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 (edited) pulled this from the jetting forum.... under CPIhumm thats funny in that post about the CPI pipes you are on the same page as us but now your out in left field ... which is it? That guy wanted to run cpi's on the trails, he would never even really see the peak rpm on that pipe in the tight stuff. He never gave up his carb size either. Oregons drag hills are about 100 yards long and whooped out. The midrange power works nice for the chops the engine does over the whoops. In that drag race video I posted, the front bike is a 4mill 2 into 1 setup with low-mid ptr's. Second place by 3 lengths back was a full port 350 with cpi's and 2 35mm pwk's. I was in third by only 1.5 lengths behind the ported 350 bike with my 2 into 1 pipe, 2 into 1 carb with 35mm pwk, a pro design head, and carbon tech reeds (stock internals). So, yeah I would say the midrange setup works pretty well. I can run the holes, then hit the hills without any issues. If I ever do another drag bike I am gonna do a cheetah 12 mill with a 65mm electronic tune port injection throttle body on a 2 into 1 intake with methanol and show you all. :yelrotflmao: Edited January 22, 2007 by Snopczynski Quote

dajogejr Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 The statement that a 2 into 1 intake, or a 2 into 1 pipe is only for trails or a stock bike is a very false statement. Never said that...just said real drag bikes run duals. I think I'm tired of this pissing match, let me solve it. Give me an address to send the cookie to... :: Quote
Snopczynski Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 (edited) Can you guys tell HOPPER is a drag racer...? LOL... Good to see you buddy... 1 into 2s are actually kinda nice for trails, just not my cup of tea. That's what a 4 stroke is for...LOL. False! Edited January 22, 2007 by Snopczynski Quote
Hollister_Hitman Posted February 10, 2007 Report Posted February 10, 2007 (edited) 1 looks clean The throttle isn't as stiff It is easier to change the clutch cable It is easier to clean the top of the case Easier to jet. No stupid stock throttle cable that splits into two No power loss with a single carb Edited February 10, 2007 by Hollister_Hitman Quote

BIGEAZY Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 i think its so funny when you guys think just because you have two carbs its better. if your friend doesnt have more power with the 2 into 1, well he is not a good tuner.the cylinders pull from the carb at different times not together :: i have been selling trinity's 2 into 1 setups for years and they are the best thing if you are trail riding! the bike will pull harder all the way threw the power band! if you have never ran this setup dont give your .02 let the people that have one turn him down the road he wants to go! back to your question! a banshee is not a bike to be running threw the water and mud! the setup that trinity sent you will need more air. you have to take the lid off or drill your 6 1" holes. they make filter plugs that you can put in those 1" holes. How much do you sell the 2 into 1 for and what size should i use. You can e-mail me for the particulars of my bike and what shop do you work at. my e-mail is [email protected] Eric Quote
Snopczynski Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 Call Cascade Innovations or Trinity Racing. Quote
shee rips Posted July 23, 2007 Report Posted July 23, 2007 what first caught my attention and drew me to banshees is the twin everything. i think thats the coolest thing about a banshee, and dont see myself changing that  Quote
