I always spray silicone lube on my heim joints before each ride and after each wash. I am pretty sure that is what Janssenmotorsports told me to do, I have also been told that you are not supposed to spray anyhitng on them because it will make them wear out faster. ?????????

Well any lube is wet. That holds dirt in there and cause them to wear out. I think that is why they say it is best to run them dry. They are supose to have teflon in them for lubercation.

Rodger and larry told me to spray wd-40 on them after a wash and work the a-arms up down a couple of times to work the oil down in the heims. They are the manufactures and deal with all r&d and warranty problems. Thats what they do on their quads as well. I spray wd-40 on mine, I have the heavy duty joints, run mostly pismo/sand, haven't had a problem yet, no signs of wear. They have just develpoed a new cover system for their heim, it has aluminum cap cover with a rubber boot on the spindle side. Supposed to take care of any debree getting in and will hold lube in, making it pretty much idiot proof for care an maintance. They are having the rubber boots manufactured right now and the new heims will be on the market soon.
