blazinlow Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 i have boyseen reeds in stock cages with stock manifolds are there anything i can do to the stock cages to gain more air flow.any pics or advice. how bout the stock manifolds i see if i did port the cages the manifold will hold them back is it a big difference by buyin pro design manifolds? do u gain anything or not this is my last question lol Quote
Bansh-eman Posted December 8, 2006 Report Posted December 8, 2006 theres alot of differant manifolds out there... prodesign, white nuckle racing, boss, modquad... the list goes on an on... the main differance from pro design to most of the others is you have to run reed spacers or have the carbs bowl welded on your left carb to clear the clutch arm if your running bigger carbs... ojcool Posted December 9, 2006 Report Posted December 9, 2006 You can port the stock cages with results similar to aftermarket ones. Some say they are better than aftermarket. Personally I run SRP cages. I can't say I felt any difference between them and the ported stock ones. But the look kinda cool. I like the boyseen reeds though. Not a big fan of V force. Quote
